We are known for quality and precision when our kitchen measurement products are used, using only the highest quality components. Since 1856, Taylor has been making kitchen measurement instruments that are accurate. You can precisely measure both in standard and metric units up to 22lb/10kg in increments of 2oz/50g.
This oversized chrome tray can accommodate the weight of heavier items, and with its raised edge, you will not have to worry about your food rolling off. Once this is done, place the tray in the dishwasher (top rack is fine).

When I open the tray, how much space does it take up?

Despite its size, the tray is not overly large. 10x7 is how big it is. The price is good for what you get

There is a difference between the picture and the description. Would you mind sharing which one it is? Does it matter whether the signal is analog ?

Despite its mechanical design, you can see that it is a spring scale in the image above. The world of electronic communication has left people with a loss of the meaning of words. It is correct that the scale is marked with digits in one definition of the word. In the sense that it does not manifest in quantum steps from the pointer's perspective (as far as human senses are concerned), driving the pointer is analog. This may not have been a very good choice of words by the seller, but nonetheless it is

What is the unit of measurement here? Do the grams and ounces match?

The answer is yes This symbol marks the halfway point between 0 and 1/2 pound as well as half pound to If you have fractional ounces, you'll have to eyeball it, but you can get pretty close to the ounce mark. Although the scale was designed for trade, it should not be used in commerce.

The picture may look nice, but it isn't what it is
3/5

It is made of lightweight, cheap plastic and is very small. rickets easily and if more than two people try to sit on it, more than one will fall off The unit falls when a third of a pound is placed on it. There is no way to hold the tray in place as it is made out of lightweight plastic and is precariously balanced. In addition to this, the unit also collapses due to this problem. The picture may look nice, but it isn't what it is. Considering the weight of the unit, it is a useless waste of space. In my opinion, it was not worth the price. I threw mine away as it caused more problems than it resolved. A similar problem is the inconsistency of the weight. When you work with a recipe that is unforgiving, there can be a downside. Don't be content with what you're currently seeing!.

The problem with reviews is this
5/5

In some sense we all depend on product reviews written by purchasers who tell us what they think of the products. When some consumers do not read the directions properly and do not understand how to use a product, it leaves a negative review that give false and misleading information about the product, leading the rest of us to believe that it is inadequate. Since I have been using Taylor scales for more than 40 years, I have found them to be effective and reliable. It is a Taylor Kitchen Scale (22-oz I purchased it Weight in pounds/10- Now that I have an extra unit, I can use it with vegetables and other items in As soon as I took the scale out of the box, I zeroed it out, then placed the stainless steel tray on it and brought it to tare. 0 represents nothing. As a result, I weighed three one pound packages of butter as well as two two pound packages There were no errors on the scale, 2# and 3# each time. I have no idea why people seem to think the scale is weak. This is due to the failure of the students to understand that the weighing mechanism is spring loaded and should recoil until it has settled, at which point it will take a The tray may even fall off on some occasions, according to some customers. As you can see, the tray has a print from the scale platform that makes it quite stable. It is not possible to "plop" something into the tray while standing on the scale platform and expect nothing to You might actually cause enough air to recoil in the spring that you could bounce the item off, depending on the force of the "Plopped" item. There are none of these quality issues with the scale, but rather issues with users. In my opinion, it is sufficiently precise for the average person to understand The Taylor trade scale should last for years to come, but it is fragile and me being careful will require me to handle it carefully. There is a large print on the dial and I like that it allows multiple readings in kilograms. Below are some photos of me. Please do not hesitate to make a purchase.

I think what a waste of money that was
3/5

The dogfood I was weighing had to be weighed on a manual scale. My bowls appear to differ in weight each time I try to position them to test the accuracy. I find this disturbing. There is more than an ounce of difference, as opposed to just a few ounces. Furthermore, there is no secure fastening on the tray, making it ineffective for my purpose as well. Purchasing another scale would be a wise decision.

The scale is more of a toy than a true Scales used in trade cannot be used on this scale

There is no way you can use it at a store since it is plastic. The tray is not adjustable and does not allow you to zero out.

I really like the price of this scale
4/5

It performs as intended, and it is an affordable one. Only a small portion of the plastic is thick, and the tray In spite of that, it appears to be more than adequate to meet entry-level requirements. Assuming that I don't drop it, I anticipate it will keep working for me for a long time. My favorite thing about this scale is that it does not In the past, I have measured flour, meat, and sugar with this scale. Taking the steel pan off and using measuring cups for measurements other than meat is my norm. (I have very large fingers, so adjusting scales is a bit of a pain. ) The bad side is that my fingers don't fit where the adjustment screw is located.

Instruments and Scales, Taylor Precision Products
3/5

A scale can appear much larger than it actually is. I bought and returned the scale as it looked a little smaller than I expected. There was an issue with it in that it would not return to zero after you took off whatever you were trying to weigh off. It is possible to calibrate the scale from zero back to the original starting point, but the scale does not return to where it was set. In addition to being small and very light, it is specifically stated on the dial that it does not have to be used for commercial purposes. A product you might find in a dollar store on sale for $2 would be more appropriate. The price is 99 bucks, and it's made that way too. In my case, it was to be used for weighing I'll probably pick up the hanging basket types like you see at produce markets from Amazon for around 30 dollars since I don't have a produce market nearby. I've had no problems with Amazon picking up products that have shipped out with defects. Is Taylor Precision Products a reliable company? The one you're thinking of is not.

This scale I use to weigh out clay for pottery making is not particularly sturdy, even though it is meant to hold more than 20 It is necessary to adjust the measurement based on the position of your object This scale I use to weigh out clay for pottery making is not particularly sturdy, even though it is meant to hold more than 20 The device works functionally, but you have to place whatever you're measuring dead center for any accuracy, and the top pan falls off so easily that even a small movement can ruin your Your money is definitely well spent when you shop online

Using a digital scale would provide you with the precision you need.

A piece of trash that is inaccurate
3/5

Using this scale for my small farm, I will weigh produce for my customers. In spite of having two digital scales, I wished for a manual one to be portable. It has been the bane of my existence since the moment I received it, and I look forward to the day when I can smash it into a pile of thin plastic pieces. Its base is completely made of plastic, so anything larger than a few tomatoes will cause the whole thing to fall over. only that were the only issue, I could work around it, but this scale does not provide any inherent qualities of reliability or accuracy in the way it does its sole job HOW TO weigh your stuff. I sometimes get as much as a 2 lb difference in weight when reweighing the same object several times. This is the worst scale I've ever seen.
