A nice-looking scale mostly made of metal that is at least as accurate as comparable scales and looks great on the counter. There is an unfortunate flaw in the packaging required to install the software. It's a good thing that the screws for the bracket that holds the bowl come attached to the bracket rather than packaged separately. This is not because the screws are too tight to loosen it is because they're screwed into hidden nuts and you must (of course) use a wrench to stabilize the nuts As you mention, it is silly, but it is absolute insanity when there are no instructions nor tools provided.

It was dead by the middle of February, having been bought on Dec 12, 2020. Due to allergies, my dog is fed a raw diet and I measure meat for him. It takes me 2x per day to measure out the pan completely empty, and each time I get a different weight. We ended up not being able to zero out the scale. The bowl is placed on the scale, and a different measurement is obtained with the same amount of food simply lifted from the bowl and placed back into the The money was a waste.

A great deal of damage was done to the last one. This is why the replacement is necessary. As a child, I had my first one for about three years and used it to measure spices, measure bread, etc. It is a product that you can not live without. I like the way it looks and it works perfectly. When the bowl is off the scale, it can be washed or used to add ingredients, and then placed back on. It weighs either grams (metric) or pounds and ounces, which both feel accurate to me. You should definitely check this out. This is great if you prefer the old school look and are not looking for a digital.

It's time for a third time to be lucky. We first bought another brand, then received it and found it defective, so we returned it. The Escali has been ordered It was the rack that held the pan that There was no question that the box had been opened and that it had been returned. I took a chance on another scale however that had all the parts because I was really happy with the looks. It's amazing. I love it. That I didn't give up is a great feeling. The screws needed to install the rack to hold the weighing pan took a bit of work to remove. You need to use a socket screwdriver as well as a screwdriver to remove the screws. It was an absolutely wonderful surprise to see the scale after perseverance. The product is excellent and I would buy it This is an excellent book.

I will say it is both a looker as well as With the removable bowl, you can use it to either weigh food or to do things like whisking eggs for pasta or other dry ingredients for baking. Is a dream to clean. With a measuring dial that is calibrated to a precision of 1mm, the tare function is dependable, and the accuracy against known quantities is acceptable. As a whole, it is light and portable enough that we can move it around our kitchen and prep area with a minimum of fuss, and its analog nature makes us content. You can't always make things better by using digital technology.

Here's the news You won't be bothered by the hassle! It's just not happening for me. Trying to attach the cradle arm is not possible due to a problem with the screws. Now that I've tried so many times, I think I ruined the screwhead. We fiddle too much and aggregate too much.

Where did the 3 stars come from? Screws were stripped on one of the screws. My first thought was to strip it, but my second was to strip Taking off the other screw and putting the bracket on with just one screw was easy. Although the screw was tight because of the price, I do not understand what there was to justify this. Despite that, it still served my purpose, and I hope that since I have the screw to replace, I can get it out.

A bowl is not attached to the scale to place items to be weighed. There is a screw and bolt that need to be removed to attach the bowl, but they are so tight that they are hard to remove.
