This isn't going well for me. The jaws would have to be partially opened in order to cut the peach, and there would not be enough surface area to do so.

There is a good chance that it is a used one. There are lots of places where pineapple fibers get caught such as in tiny openings and screws. It is not made of a single piece of metal, so any gaps can catch fruit when it falls. This is essentially a useless brush that came with the product. Be careful while cleaning since the blades are really sharp. With a big pineapple, it seems like you can waste a lot of fruit.
This is what I bought for my friend to bake apples with. Hands that used to be hers don't function as well as they once did. What a pleasure it is for her.
It's awesome that this pineapple corer works. This makes your pineapple look as if it was purchased in a store. This works way better than the previous plastic one I tried. I don't have to worry about peeling a pineapple on this one. You won't have to worry about anything with it. In fact, I have been using the long core in my fruit infusion.
I can confirm that it works as expected. The product worked well for Moonglow pears and a few apples, and it removed the cores in a snap. However, be aware that it takes out a large plug, so if you're using smaller fruit, you may not have.

After about 3 dozen apples and 3 weeks after it was returned, the corer became misaligned and would not realign. It is no longer usable, so it cannot be returned. I totally lost my time and money.
Pineapples can easily be cut with a knife. It is easy to clean, and the fibers are less likely to stick in welding than other fibers.
Junk like this is not worth reading. We had a problem with it when we used it for the first time. As a result, a metal blade came off the A product like this wouldn't be recommended to me.
