A pineapple of a certain size is a good choice. It is estimated that 3 1/4 inches of the blade will be wasted on a pineapple of any size. This means that no matter what the size of the pineapple you will end up with a ring about the size of canned pineapple.
There have been times when I've put it in the dishwasher. The fact that it is so easy to clean makes it almost unworthy of a
Do you know whether a fork handle would work for pushing it out? Alternatively, you can soak it in hot water and try to push it out that way. The tape might also be able to be cut out with a knife.... This is a good one. This tool is great. I haven't run into that issue

In a move, I lost an OXO pineapple corer that I had previously used and hadn't realized how much I loved it until I found it again. Due to its low price, I bought this corer. It works well, but not in the same manner as the OXO corer. It lacks the comfort that the ratcheting handle offers. I knew immediately when I was finished coring the first (and last) pineapple with this corer that I would be going back to I would still buy the OXO even if it cost twice as much because the ratcheting handle makes coring a pineapple so much easier.
In the end, the corer did core the pineapple, but it wasn't without risk. The core was stuck inside my finger, and I cut my finger trying to remove it. Twisting the handle caused it to slide downward. It would be nice to see a device that pushes the core out of the way It makes me a bit nervous to use it again.
As I mentioned before, I chose this corer based on the company that provided A couple months ago, I bought a frothing wand from Zulay and I had nothing but good things to say about it. I hadn't been scared to use the pineapple corer, so I was comfortable using it. Today was the first time I used it. I found it to be very useful. The blade cuts through the core in no time.
It delivers what it promises to deliver. Works like a charm. Grilling pineapple for burgers is the best way to prepare it. You get the picture.
I am still not exactly sold on the tool just It's crucial that everyone knows before they buy this product that several things need to be in place before this can function properly. As a first point, the pineapple should not be too large. As a result, you will end up with some wasted fruit, and we all know how much fresh fruit can cost, especially if you eat it a lot like me. After that, the corer in the center of the tool must be perfectly positioned in relation to the pineapple core. Otherwise, you will have pineapple rings which have thick core on the inside and there is very little pineapple on the outside. On these rings, as soon as the pineapple is cut into these rings, the pineapple is incredibly hard to slice away from the core because it is just shredded. It is not possible to use this tool on larger pineapples, as it will result in a lot of wasted fruit. As long as the pineapple is a little bigger around as the tool, which isn't all that big, it won't fit in the tool. If you are cutting a lot of pineapple at the same time, it can save you time, especially if you use the tool for the right size fruit. Otherwise, I think I could do a better job with a sharp knife. It is, of course, less clean.
Because I already have the Zulay lemon/lime squeezer, when I saw the great reviews for the pineapple tool, I thought it might be worth trying. I was able to use it despite the fact that my eight year old granddaughter did not know how to do I have never seen anything like this. As a result, I am on the hunt for other Zulay products to add to my kitchen's pantry.
A sturdy and sharp tool with an easy to use design. As a result, I will not have to spend more than usual for already sliced pineapple.
Using this pineapple removal device is easy, light, durable and you get all the good edible parts out It literally took a couple of minutes to complete.
