It is difficult to apply pressure to the handles, either because they are not sharp enough or because the blades are not sharp enough. To cut apples, I had to knock it against the table and it broke on the first use. Then you won't be wasting your money.
Because I had one slicer to replace my old one, I bought a new one when I recently moved. As a result, I was pleased with the fact that it arrived promptly and looked like a high quality product. I did not use this until after it was delivered. As a start, it was nowhere close to as sharp as my old one from several years ago. To force the apples through, we had to exert a great deal more pressure. Initially, I thought I could handle that, but then I realized it didn't cut the whole way through leaving all the slices attached to the core, which means I have to turn it upside down and break off each slice individually. I'm going to continue searching.
Upon shipment, it was received on time. To provide my husband with an apple snack every day, I intended to use it every day. The first few times I used it, it worked fine, but now it appears dull and tears up the apple more so than it did at first. My routine involves rinsing and drying it manually instead of putting it in the dishwasher. When the apple isn't perfectly shaped, the tool is a bit difficult to use. It is still faster and easier than a knife, though.
This is the new apple slicer to replace our old one, which broke. We really liked it, so I paid a lot of money for it. For my children's little hands, I have been using a slicer/corer like this since they were babies. The first thing I did was peel and slice the apple, then put the pieces in one of those baby "bags", which allowed them to gum and swallow without having to worry about Later, I stopped pealing the apple and made sure we could all enjoy its Our new model is easier to use and cuts well. It is also easier to hold than the old one.
The average of the two groups. No one can say that it cuts well, but it cuts. No one can say that it cleans well, Although not suitable for play, the wristband is neither too flimsy nor too durable. In general, I would rate it as average.
The handle is harder to hold on to and the apple slicer is smaller than my previous one. Because of the curve and width of the handles, it is difficult for the user to gain leverage, and the blades are double-layered, making it difficult for the user to cut through the apple and to clean it. Having already used it, I can't return it, but I will be buying another product to replace the last one that was broken.
It did not work quite as expected (not well), but my husband insisted I order it When it comes to keeping the core in the right place, it is truly challenging to angle the tool just right. Weight and muscle is required to cut through the apple (not great for kids), and then it gets hung up at The very bottom of the blade does not go through the skin. A knife is the best way to cut an apple for me.
I thought this would be better for me. In terms of size, it wasn't too big. An apple of a normal size is difficult to cut for me. There is no indication anything is wrong with the system - I like how it's made and looks. I would suggest that next time I look elsewhere for my apple slicer.
