As with any product, it is necessary to exert some upper body strength to push, twist, and pull the corer from top to bottom of You might have a little trouble with it if you do not have a great deal of upper body strength. As a result, I will suggest that, in order to get a perfect fit for the corer, you should buy pineapples that are smaller than the corer. You will have some left over in the bottom and sides of a large pineapple. Cutting down the side and carving out the leftover is not too much of a hassle, so I don't really see it as a problem. There would be no point in having a corer if it was too large to fit a pineapple of medium to small size. If you want to core a pineapple, I suggest chilling it first, it makes it easier to core and makes it more firm. Moreover, my product came with a handwritten note thanking the seller inside the box, which made me want to leave a rapid review afterwards once I was satisfied with the actual product.
I only got the core out of the pineapple, the other piece sat on top of it and did not twist down to cut through.
I bought this cutter to replace one I had previously purchased. It has no tabs retaining the blade to the shaft to prevent the blade from getting stuck in small pieces of pineapple. weight and looked like it was attached to the shaft with tabs. 1) It is a pleasant experience. The only thing I can think of that could be improved is the tabs on the handle are very stiff and somewhat difficult to squeeze and assemble. In addition to this cutter, there is a pineapple section cutter that I had no idea that I needed, but I found to be very helpful. Including a tool for cutting avocados and removing their seeds. In my opinion, this item is a good purchase.
Since I have experience with pharma commissioning, I can attest that 304 stainless steel is better than many others when it comes to caustic atmospheres I have tried this thing a few times and it works like a charm (with a little *Note that the blades are thick, which prevent them from being bent. *A word to the wise, be sure to wash immediately as the acid will still slowly corrode (pit) the steel otherwise. Air drying helps the corrosion resistance to be rebuilt.
There is nothing I love more than this device. In the past, pineapples have been hard to cut because they are difficult to twist, but now I just cut off the top, twist the tool into the pineapple and pull it out and have a fresh and delicious pineapple. There may be some who complain about how much fruit is left against the rind, but I say it's well That's not something anyone wants to eat. With this tool, you are left with just the delicious fruit to eat.
I love it! You can use it very easily. In my experience, I put the pineapple in it on a cutting board the first time, which resulted in a lot of juice running all over my counter, so I would suggest using a pie pan, deep dish, or wide bowl to set the pineapple in. It would have been nice to have an additional tool for cutting up large chunks, but I prefer to use a knife for the second job.
In the past I could not cut up the prickly beast, but now it's easy, just a few turns and it's cut up beautifully. You need some effort to pull your pineapple cylinder out, but I discovered how to do it. At the bottom of the pineapple, I made the final turn without pressing down to make the final cut, making the release of the pineapple easier than it could have been. In addition to the pineapple rings being cut into very easy to handle pieces by the plastic cutter, I definitely recommend this product.
Although the slicer blade only slides up the shaft of the corer, the pineapple quickly becomes cored with the tool. Not a single slice was cut. I placed my order based on the great reviews posted here. It is a great disappointment for me. The box was thrown away before use, therefore, all returns through Amazon are done without the box. It looks like the metal is robust enough, but the tig weld is not well done.
