Questions & Answers

Can this be used to core ?

Whether it would work for cucumber slices depends on how big the cucumber is. If not, I don't think it would be a great idea.

What about pineapples?

It's an easy job if you have a pineapple corer. A similar one is available at Bed Bath & Beyond There is more. Until it wears out, it works great. you can just get one more. You can buy them for a low price. Possibly a better one can be found

Did they post the wrong video? It looks like they are doing a demonstration in the video. ?

The peeler is very good, I believe that it will help you peel potatoes well. The peeler I gave my helper was a huge hit with her.

How can I find an apple corer that works with only part of the ?

To me, it has always been a dream to go through an apple from top to bottom. Despite its thin profile, there is no adjustment to prevent it from traveling through the apple in its entirety. My favorite part of this system is the ease of use.

I think it was a waste because it was just shipped in an envelope, not a box, and therefore it was flattened like a pancake when delivered

In this cut, the metal piece which holds the apple flush against the metal circle this bit down into the apple. Although I managed to force it back into an oval shape (I needed an apple corer earlier than I could have returned it. )I have just kind of put up with it in order to do a recipe that my grandad requested for his birthday but it was disappointing, and my caramel baked apples looked terrible due to the new uneven-shaped pan. Correspondence between a corer and his or her score. This was really disappointing, given that I have liked products by this brand in the past and generally trust the recommendations from Amazon Choice.

It does what it is supposed to do

Stabbing things is the thing you like to do but don't want to go to jail for. Then, you'll be stabbed in the heart. Literally, this is not possible because it would be both dangerous and difficult Here is a little corer for you. That is probably the first and last time I will ever write "corer. ". This product is nearly impossible to mess up, but can be incredibly useful if it's used properly. You have to keep trying no matter what the apple size is. Sometimes you miss the center and have to start over. The core can become too large at times, and you need to go over it again. Take your freshly cored apple and pop out the core with your fingers, then wash with water.

I am disappointed
3/5

Having to cut out the core of the apple and still have to carve out some of the apple's core became tiresome. I thought I would make apple coring easier by simplifying the process. In fact, I might cut the apple again just because of how disappointed I am. 4) to get all of the core and it causes the Fresh apples are my son's and my favorite fruit, but the brown color is not appealing to us.

There is still 50lb of apples to be cored
5/5

It's been a while since I looked up It looks like this little gadget would be pretty useful. When I saw this OXO Good grips apple corer, I was overjoyed. a big apple peeler/corer, but I didn't like the cranking that I had to do with it or the mess it made. Canning and preserving is very much a part of my life I just didn't want the core out and I didn't know what to do with it To juice the rest of the apple, I put it into my juicer & press it. Then Mill it, but it was a lot of One of my friends explained to me how she did it with just the cores removed & replaced with the new ones Compared to the previous task, this one was a lot simpler. A corer by OXO generates a much neater product in less time and with less mess The fruit is better preserved in this method. This is a wonderful product that I'm glad to have purchased. Besides being sturdy, it is also very easy to use Despite being loaded with 50 pounds of apples, it still looked like new.

Suitable for coring apples, this can be put in the dishwasher and does not rust
5/5

I love apples and this works well to Because the teeth are not too sharp, no one will cut their finger off, but the apple can still be cut with them. For me, what is most important is that they don't rust out when I put them on soak or in the dishwasher, like all the others did before them. Handle is rubberized plastic and easy to grip, I want to stay on top of this because I am getting older and my fingers are getting a little bit stiff. This is a very well made and sturdy product. *I am lazy and dislike being inconvenienced, and I like apples but I am lazy and don't care for them. As I snack a lot, I keep apples in the house and snack on them instead of candy now that I have this. Having the convenience of eating healthier in just this one area of my life makes healthy eating more convenient for me.

I have found this to work very well

You can effectively break the skin of an apple by carefully twisting it when you come into contact with it. The risk of an accident, however, could be if you just drive the car right in. You just need to gently twist to cut through the skin, then it's easy peasy.

Using a corer, removes an apple's core Doing it well is more important than doing A few times I have cored Granny Smith apples with this corer, and it's worked well every time

Sharp, snag-free blades (they come with a piece of safety tape that protects you and everyone around you) and a sturdy handle make this item easy to carry. It appears that the blades are slightly serrated (easily seen in the product pictures) and that makes a significant Just a little pressure and a slight twist and they'll sink right in. The corer was initially a concern of mine because I was worried it would be difficult to keep it on It hasn't been a challenge with my "target" but I attribute that to either my skill or the design of the tool. Corer has sufficient length to pass completely through most apples, and sections removed can easily be thrown away after their use. Cleaning hasn't proven to be a problem because the whole thing is made from pretty strong materials. The only thing that really concerns me is that the blade sometimes accidentally slices through the seeds, or it doesn't quite get enough of the flesh or rind, but unless you're incredibly fussy, it won't be an issue. It is perfectly fine to eat and enjoy the rest of the fruit. In comparison to my previous 'Wedger' style cutter that I never felt safe using due to the fact that it never cut well and required a lot of force, this one was an excellent choice and pretty much a perfect replacement. I feel much safer using this new cutter since it doesn't require much strength and I'm not forced to use much force. (Just as safe as it would be with any sharp knife. Children should not be allowed to play on it.

e. Fruit and vegetables are cored to remove the cores) All you need to do is make one small change There is a need to sharpen it! According to its design, the device blasts through the item and leaves bruised content in its wake. I think this is a brilliant idea and a great tool. This is a good start, but it This is the latest update to the review A picture of the corer was added to the product description on 5/18/14 once I sharpened it. Now, I have a corer with a sharpened cutting edge that moves through the apple very smoothly and cuts down on browning.
