I notice how sturdy they are as soon as they arrive I have never had a problem with the stir stick bending or breaking when stirring thick or heavy substances. They worked well almost immediately after I put them to use. Stirring them in the mixing bowl or on the piping works great as well If I order another set of hot sauces, I might go back and get more.
