There is no way to fit this 1 3/8 inches wide where the handle meets the blade. It is one of the best spatulas I've ever bought. I use them for a variety of things, but I do not use them for dressing bottles instead, I wear them as mugs. Because of its simplicity, it works well. It has a small degree of flexibility, but not a lot.
There are 7 1/4" of white on the white part. Eleven and a quarter inches is the total length. Thank you for your help!
I think it's one of our best cooking tools. It's curved and we use it a lot. It is nice to hear from you,
As a matter of fact, I've done that and it worked great. Whether you're opening a jar or a can of food, this spatula is handy. am in love with

had several of the OLD design, and they worked perfectly for the purpose they were intended for. It took them no time at all to clean the jars One downside of the old design was that the scraping edge was thinner, therefore more delicate, which meant it was easier to cut or nick when scraping across blades or sharp edges of cans, but it still I guess that is why the new design has thicker sides, but those thicker sides also cancel out some of In the end, I used these to cook with As far as stirring scrambled eggs, etc. I didn't need spatulas, I needed scrapers that could handle the job. The only time I would consider buying any more of these would be if Oxo redesigns them again and gets them.
I just call it a plastic stick because it's not really a spatula. It is useless to use it as a spatula because it has no give to it at all, so it is only good at mixing things The stiffness of the brush makes it impossible to properly clean even the sides of the jar. Cleaning the corners on the bottom is also impossible. A few days ago, I bought a new "OXO Good Grips Silicone Spatula" hoping that it would be better with a wider blade. This is also the case. There is no flexibility at all. In the meantime, both of them are stored in a craft/household box that maybe I can use in the future for something else. A RECENT UPDATE Both had to be thrown away a few months later. Besides getting dirty from 'nothing', I couldn't even use them for any other purpose. It doesn't seem fair that the plastic (or silicon) sits in a clean box filled with household items, and that it attracts every speck of dust and lint and has to be constantly cleaned just to keep it in place.
got a Vitamix and needed a thin spatula to scrape out bits of stuff that cling to the sides and bottom of the blend machine after it has been used. The spatula I bought was not the only one. I also purchased a jug.
I'll need to consider the following pros and cons as they relate to my particular needs My preface for making this point is that I tend to use these more than most people do It is time for me to have a baby- Those guys see a lot of action since they're working in a bakery that I am starting up. Depending on how it is used at home, my primary gripe probably won't be too annoying. The pros include Incredibly easy to keep clean* They reach small spaces and corners* Nice and firm, they don't bend at the handle, but are flexible at the edges of the scrapers* *Less pliable at the edges of the scrapers* Not the best at dealing with teeth* There is a consumable component to them Support for the scraper/paddle is made of plastic on the inside. A quarter-inch from the end of the scraper/paddle, the plastic is cut through. After this happens, it is effectively worthless. It took me a long time to get the life out of these that I would have liked.
Most of the time, D/W is cleaned by hand. Cooking at high temperatures should not be done with this product. Most of the jars removed are from the peanut butter or mayo. We mix tuna salad from time to time. There has never been a product failure this early in the life cycle of a product I own from OXO. At the neck of the handle, there are multiple cracks. Besides the 'spoon,' there is one in the mouth of the spoon. Using a spatula that is Keeping things clean. Because I have always believed that spending a little more money was well worth it, I have been a loyal OXO buyer for decades. It was the positive reviews here that led me to buy this product. I am less confident that I should purchase OXO for the long term.
The spatula is not up to par. The handle of my blender spatula needs to be long and narrow for it to reach in. As far as I can tell, this is made of very soft material, but it's not very flexible. I am completing my second (and last) story in this series. In spite of the fact that the spatula is full of several cut marks just from touching the blades when the blender is not running, it is stiff enough so that it won't fit into the corners Additionally, I find it uncomfortable to hold the thick handle. I must be the only one experiencing this issue as it generally gets good reviews. The spatula is just as good as my $2 mayo jar, but it costs no more than a mayo jar.
This is mainly for the sourdough in the narrow jar I bought. You can mix things up faster using this method. The lid helps to keep the sides of the jar clean as well. My small hands make this work fine, however, I can see where it may pose a problem for a person with large.
