It is beautifully crafted with a lovely grain, and I particularly like the small one that can be used as a spatula and a spoon at the same time. I actually tried sanding a little bit of the large one with a piece of sandpaper, but it was difficult to get them smooth before I rinsed and dried it, and then used some extra virgin olive oil. The boots are sturdy and getting more beautiful with each wear. I've had them for about a week now and it's been a pleasure. As the oils and fats in the food absorb into the wood, olive wood utensils are especially good for frying and stir frying beef and lamb and sautéed vegetables, as the fats and oils soak into the wood. My method of cleaning them is to wash with warm water and gentle soap, and spray them with olive oil if they appear to be (Don't soak them in water since this will cause the wood to expand, which will result in a crack upon drying. In conclusion, I highly recommend these. My kitchen is filled with these lovely little additions.

Presenting them as a gift would be a great idea. Boxes come packaged with a natural colored tissue paper and are branded with a green foil. Regardless of which one you choose, the edges are both angled in a way. In my house, left and right handed cooks alike enjoy using it. Its handle is not angled, so they can use it either way. You can get a good view of the inside edge of the pan—thanks to the angle. We take great care of our customers as well!.

I first want to point out that none of these utensils are It's beautiful how these olive utensils are shaped! The fact that one of my countries is in Africa makes me feel particularly proud. The packaging is done in extreme care and is made by hand. As well as this set, I ordered another one, which arrived today. There is no comparison whatsoever! There will be no disappointment for you. A second set is on its way.

I opened these with great excitement when they were delivered to my house. The first one snapped in half when I used it and the second one sustained severe damage after just a few weeks of use. It is a real shame because the pictures are so appealing to the eyes. However, I still use the chipped one, but it does not look as nice as it once did.

The kitchen islands arrived in good condition and they are very nice. The wood grain is so beautiful that they are almost too pretty to cook on. I am pleased.

The handle is too short, as one started cracking after 2 weeks of gentle hand washing.
