Despite what some people say about it, I liked this product. It does what you expect it to do, it's heat resistant, and I had no problem holding it (frankly, I'm still amazed that some people have trouble holding it). I have only one, and perhaps one of the most significant, objections to the handle while it is made of wood, the finish is utterly unattractive. For about a week, I have been using mine, and the finish has completely worn off. There is no way to truly capture what it is like, but this is the left one I've been using, and this right one is one I've never used before. As the finishing wears away over time, I expect it to slowly lose its finish, but one week is not acceptable. When that point is reached, you may want to stop working on the wood at all and save your customers.

Item was exactly as expected and even better. My old wooden turning machine was replaced by one of these machines. The silicon spatula is easier to clean than metal ones. With its solid construction, the small blue silicone spatula can mix thick peanut butter or mashed potatoes with ease.
