In addition to the feet, the legs are also welded. Thankfully, the feet are not well welded, as the foot gap is less than an inch. The strainer has already detached two of the three balls. The product does not offer support, and the product does not meet our expectations.
It is too big for quinoa to fit through these holes. In lieu of another set, I bought this one because someone told me it was suitable for quinoa, but it's not The colander basically lets them fall through. Definitely not happy with the situation.
However, the fact they are made in China irritates me, but they appear to be well-constructed.
Although I have never tried it, the holes appear to be large enough to host

It is likely that the bowl, as well as the handles, are made of stainless steel. In addition, the base is made from plated steel, and it rusted at all the spot welds when I washed it the first time.
With my SS colander set, I feel like I'm in the kitchen. What they say about sizes is what they mean. The small has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and a height of 2 1/2 inches. A medium size is 8 inches by 3 1/4 inches, while a large size is 10 1/4 inches by 3 7/8 inches. In addition to measuring the usage area, edges are not included in the circle measurement. Spaguettis up to one pound can be fitted in the large.
It is because the description said that it can drain quinoa that I bought it. There is no such thing. Despite the holes, Quinoa falls right through.
The picture you see is exactly how it is. They are available in a range of sizes that I enjoy! I don't think there is much of a difference in all the sizes. My gas line hasn't rusted like other people have mentioned, and it's been 2 weeks since I bought it. There are some spots where dry rice escapes, but not so much as to be dangerous. I wanted stainless steel because I hoped they would last longer and be better for Please note Generally, if this review is not updated, that means that the product is absolutely great or that I am no longer with the company.
This set of colanders is terrific. A set made from screen-like material had worn out and I needed to replace them. outside edge of the screen was attached to a plastic frame. I used them only a few times before they fell apart. This past Sunday, I used the Holm steel mesh colanders for the first time. It's amazing how different things are. I really enjoy working with them. In this case, I can see that the money I invested wasn't wasted. I particularly like the fact that there are no hidden places for food during the cleaning process, and the construction is sturdy and durable. While stainless steel mesh is small enough to prevent small food from falling through (this is the reason I bought the screened product that fell apart), it is strong enough to handle heavy foods and still allow water to escape. Honestly, this is one of the best products I have ever used.
It was a bit hesitant for me to purchase this, but for the price I thought I'd give it a go. My favorite part of these is that they are so colorful. I like how light and smooth the inside of the containers are. I found the holes in these bags to be small enough that I don't have to rinse the rice through them, and the angel hair pasta doesn't stick through the holes like some other bags. I have so far relied on these for most of my skincare needs!.
After I had put the celery through the blender, I used the colander to strain the juice out. As I can choose whether to position it over a bowl or over just the fiber and colander, I can easily press the celery juice through both easy. It is too difficult to drain food from the mesh colanders due to the small holes. As a result, they were created. This is the perfect size for every job, is easy to clean, stackable, and can be stored easily. Simply rinsing my hands is enough to clean them. They are stainless steel, which I appreciate Aluminum is not an option for me.
My old mesh strainers kept falling apart and they poked out at the ends, so I wanted a new set that was fine enough for rinsing rice, but not made of that flexible mesh. It seems like these are very sturdy, and they're definitely easy to clean. In the past I have used Kokuho Rose in white rice, and the first time I rinsed it over another bowl rather than a strainer to see if any grains remained. Possibly 3 grains out of 2 I can definitely cope with the fact that 3 cups of rice did not come through. It was time for me to change my approach, and now I periodically run my hand over the bottom to push anything that is poking out into place. They are great! I am very pleased with them!.
