Its size is medium wide enough for most uses, Unless you are cooking pasta for 8, you probably don't need the large one. However, if you are cooking pasta for 2, 4, or even 8, you probably need the large. The size I use 95 percent of the time is the one I have in all three sizes.

My only regret is that I didn't get the next largest size when I was draining potatoes. This is made well and will last for a very long time!
A surgical stainless steel product apparently is not used to make my product There is no way for me to stick my magnet Other products I have in my stainless steel kitchen are also adhered by the same magnet.

colander is not a sieve because the weave of the wire makes it look like one. An entire sheet of metal is stamped with a million holes on it. A colander like this drains quickly, is easy to wash, and stays clean and dry The diameter of the bowl is 8 inches and the height is 15 inches A little over 3/4 inch tall. A width of 10 and a height of 19 are provided as examples A little over 3/4 inch tall. A bowl depth of three and a half feet is recommended This is 3/8 of an inch. **Overall height 4 ft, and width 4 ft, and depth 2 ft, and width 12 ft The width is 1/2 inch. A base diameter of 5 " and a height of 15 " The width is 1/2 inch.
The collander is very nice. Stainless loop handles on either side of the collander are of excellent quality, and it has a rigid, well-made construction. The top rim of this ceramic vase measures about 10 inches across at the widest point. The drain perforations are relatively small, I guess comparable to a strand of spaghetti? The body is stainless steel, the perforations are relatively small. There is only one thing I would caution about and that is to make sure the colander is rinsed thoroughly after use because of the way the base is attached to the bottom. There seems a possibility that food residue could collect in the paper thin gap that connects the base and the bottom of the collander. There's no need to worry, simply make sure to wash it well.
If space and cost are not a concern, it may be better to own several tools rather than a few small ones. I love how small and compact this colander is. It cleans beautifully, takes up less space, and is easy to use. I was able to replace both my large flat-panel TV and a larger flat-panel monitor The hole colander is woven with fine mesh to remove moisture and bits of food from the water. Rice and even quinoa can be kept in place with the right number and size of perforations, which are large enough to drain liquid through quickly and completely, but small enough to stop it from draining out. Rinsing and draining a head of lettuce or straining a pot of pasta for four, or separating broth and solids after stewing a whole chicken is a cinch. It is sturdy enough that I can use a rubber spatula as a substitute for a potato ricer by pushing boiled potatoes through the holes. A very smooth surface and clean and smooth joins between the base of the bowl and the rim, means this tool will do its job just fine. If you don't like my fine mesh strainer, use a coffee filter inside this colander and it will be a perfect substitute. Do not rush the process. Pour Two batches of straining should be done if you make a large batch of something. Several cubic feet of cabinet space can be saved. Great tool that really does what it is supposed to do!.
Having gone through 2 enameled colanders in 8 years, I understand this trend isn't uncommon. Although the colors are fun, they don't last very long. Also, I had a small requirement for the size of a drawer in my cabinet. I had to search for a lot to find one that fit, but this 3 quart size was perfect for what I needed. They are perfect for all my straining needs, so I also ordered their corresponding fruit/berry size. A big box will fit a box of pasta inside. Especially good for fruit is the small. The stacking of these boxes is perfect, and there isn't much space to spare. I have very few concerns about how long they will last in the dishwasher and how well they will hold up without rusting. The metal is thick and strong. It is my hope that I will possess these for not only the rest of my life, but for.
As soon as I saw they came out with They have been great for me, both the 5 qt and the 1 qt that I bought a couple of years ago. In fact, when I saw that they had come out with a 3qt, I was very excited and ordered one right away. When it came, the entire base was blackened and some tiny white blotches were scattered around. It has been returned, and I have ordered another. I received it yesterday, and that too will be returning. The second support ring does not appear to be as bad as the first, but the bottom half What is going on is beyond me right now, so I am giving up on these for the time being.
As I found out, the handles are merely glued onto the system. Others have complained that the handles break easily, in part because there are no fasteners. I can understand why they are so fragile. My Live Fresh 5 is still in the box There was a qt colander that was about the same price, but the quality was much better. This isn't going to last for very The 25 year old one was replaced with this There is an old colander I have that cannot be washed in a dishwasher. Keeping the old one and returning this one is as good as keeping it. In addition, I believe the size is not right it is smaller than my current 3-inch tablet Colander with a capacity of one quart.
The colander is one of the best on the market. There are lots of holes on this colander, and so food drains quickly and completely without any unperforated areas like those on most metal colanders. There are just enough holes so that small items like orzo and rice don't fall into the sink, but not too small so they clog too easily or become hard to clear. There is no doubt that the mesh strainer is significantly stiffer and stronger than the strainer with a similar size and spacing of holes, and it tends to remain cleaner longer. In spite of the pedestal base of this colander holding the food well enough off the sink to prevent standing water from touching my food, I would have liked to have seen some slits in the base to allow water to escape. In the past, I have had to remember to position the colander over the drain in the sink when I will be passing a lot of liquid (like a big pot of pasta) through it, but it hasn't stainless steel colander has been used quite a bit in the past few months, but the surface doesn't seem to show any signs of rust or discoloration, and the rim is still shiny. My girlfriend and I bought this colander along with the similar 5 Qt colander it's the perfect size to nest inside the larger colander when placed inside a kitchen.
This is to replace an aluminum colander that was of a similar size. I have been using my older colander for several years now, and although it has been functional, it is soft and can't tolerate the dishwasher as it tarnishes so easily. It was clean, but it As a result, I am satisfied with the RSVP International Endurance scoops. It's been a few weeks since I bought the RSVP International Endurance colander.
