Sorry, but I can't help you. Use a finer strainer than a colander since the holes in the colander are too big to catch all the rice.
In short, yes. My recipe called for me to strain out the pulp and seeds from lemon juice so I could use them Using fine mesh is too difficult because it is too fine. I use it for pasta, veggies, rinsing beans, lentils, and am sure split peas would work the same way.
The only size is the large

I really like the size of this chair and I like how elevated the feet are. It's a pity that the company decided to skimp on the metal and handle portions, so it's of no use to anyone. By looking at it, you would assume that the handles are metal, but coated in a plastic to make them easier to grip, but that's not true! As a result, the handle metal stops just where the plastic begins, creating a weak point that cannot prevent even the smallest portion of pasta from being strained. This trash is going back to the bin.
I am so disappointed as the dimensions and foot of the colander are perfect for draining pasta, but after a few months of use, the top rim has worn away to reveal a black plastic beneath Dishonest advertising such as this is so disheartening. I am disappointed in falsely claiming that stainless steel is used on the colander.
As I searched on Amazon for a new colander, I noted that reviews of a number of them showed the handles breaking off or rusting. As for my decision to choose this particular colander, I chose it because the handles were riveted to the bottom and there would be no rust problems. I have used this colander several times now and it has held up quite well. The bag isn't super heavy, but that wasn't on my list of requirements, so I would buy it.
This originally came with a fish tank filter that I used to clean gravel. There were just the right number of micro holes to prevent They provided a good grip, thus making it easy to hold. After I've bought it, I expect to order another to use as a food container. Having a large enough bowl to catch pasta easily when it pours from a pot of boiling water is one of the things I particularly like about it. Because the handles are heat resistant, the colander can be handled right after it has been used with hot items. In addition to the great price, there is also a really great deal!.
This product has been in our possession for a few months and we have been extremely happy with it. It is lightweight, easy to clean, and has the perfect size holes for almost anything we need to hang. I've tried several other colanders and they don't compare with this one, and I would recommend it to people who are looking for a good price on a quality colander.
Magnet had no effect on it, so I think it's real These magnets won't stick to anything except the rivets holding the handle to the handle. You won't have to worry about rusting, unlike This is better looking than what we have at the top stores around us like Macy's, Bed, Bath and Beyond, etc. You can find these brands at Dillards, Beyond and others.
