- Today is Oct 28th, Almost a year ago today, I purchased this. As soon as I saw this, I was so happy with it. The material seems sturdy and supposedly of good quality. The product itself seems pretty and my first impression was that it was so well made. My paint began to pucker over time, but I did not realize to what extent until later on, as I did not know what would be the end result. It was only after I observed the paint around the bottom holes puckering that I noticed the damage. In order to put the item in storage, I had to address some personal matters. This was just a regular storage, so there was no water logged in it. I rediscovered this after it had been stored in storage and noticed a few things I had forgotten. Peeling paint had completely removed the paint from the wall. A food-safe metal is not the metal in question. A stainless steel item would not be as durable as a brass item. Since if it was a problem with the enamel, I would have removed it right away. The only thing left was a piece of metal that was corroding and rusting. In the beginning I had planned to keep it and make my own food safe paint, but the closer I look at it, the more expensive food safe paint is. The only downside to this thing is that I only got maybe two years out of it. I bought it so I can get something that will last for a very long time. It would be great if that were the case.
There's nothing cute about it. We had a good time. There's nothing cute about it. Two years later, the main piece of the unit is rusting through the paint around the seams, and a year later the paint on the seams is bubbling up and peeling.
5 months ago, I purchased this. As I washed it yesterday I noticed the enamel around the base has started to crack. Rusting has begun to develop on this item. I have never washed it in a dishwasher or allowed it to soak in a My use of it has not even been that extensive. There is either something wrong with mine or the quality isn't good. This left me feeling very.
A yellow 5 quart colander I bought in 2010 is still in my possession. The helm has very discolored and rusted over the past 7 years, even though I have cleaned it carefully and promptly each time after use. After owning the vehicle for a couple years, the paint began to discolor. It is said that a picture tells a thousand words, so here is the state of things The Calypso Basics I bought from is not going to be purchased.
My colander has been in my possession for three years, but I have only occasionally used it. Within the first year, the paint on the bottom began peeling, and it has now gotten so bad that there are now large rusty patches. As for the inside, it has also begun to bubble and flake, which renders it useless. I had been using a plastic colander for the last ten years, but I gave it to my husband when he used it as a gardening It is not as durable or as long-lasting as I would have expected given the price. It is not a product I would buy again or recommend.
I apologize for my mistake. I have been feeding it love and care beyond any kitchen tool I own, and now the seams are cracking. Moreover, the color looks more like a baby blue than a real A display like this was not meant to be anything more.
It is very The fruit holder was ordered so we could serve fruit. Because the holes allow air circulation, the fruit does not sag and bruise as it ripens, and since they are small, they don't sag either. I think it looks really good on the This color is an indigo that is very rich. It is 5 inches wide once you include the handles) and 6 inches wide on the outside. The height of the rim is 5" from the bottom of the base.
In a few months, it started rusting a little. It was perfect and adorable. Although I was able to scrub it off for a while, it now turns rusty every time I wash it.
