Exactly. A clever design is the magnet. It's difficult for the lid to fall once it's been caught by the magnet. Thanks to the clever design, it has made my life a lot easier.

I thought it was just another can opener before I tried it. This can opener, on the other hand, glides like butter and does not irritate my carpal tunnel syndrome. The magnet is also one of my favorites. It's both fashionable and light. A fantastic purchase.

Seriously, how many times have we screamed in frustration while attempting to open a can only to find that the blade refused to turn, or that it was extremely difficult to grind and turn, or that the blade cut unevenly, or, worse yet, that once the lid was loose, you had to try to pry it off with your fingers? only for the filthy lid to land in the can's contents? Worse, can I get an amen from everyone who has cut their finger on a sharp lid at some point in their lives? Getting into a tin can is such a hassle- Until PRINCHEF arrived on the scene with their ingenious stainless steel can opener. br>br>I was apprehensive about purchasing this opener (via this website!). To be honest, I was tired of buying can openers that looked promising but were inconvenient to use once I got them home. This is not the case with PRINCHEF. This opener is small and portable, with a simple to use interface. The blade and turn knob glide easily through the metal, and the grip rubber handles are comfortable to hold. Because there was so much resistance, I was surprised that I didn't have to clench my teeth to turn the blade. The blade turns and glides smoothly and easily in this case. However, there is a big payoff at the end of the road: The PRINCHEF has a magnet that latches onto the lid and easily removes it from the can once it's been cut. There was no commotion, no messes, and no bloodied fingers. This can opener really works, folks. So reach for the PRINCHEF stainless steel can opener when it's time to open that tuna can or the tomato paste can for a quick spaghetti meal. You'll be grateful to your wrists and fingers.

There was not a single negative review on this one; everything was positive. This can opener ripped through the lid like it was cutting paper when I received it just in time to open a commercial size can of sauce! The crank handle and grip are both very comfortable. Excellent product at a fantastic price!.

It appears that the shaft on which the kob is mounted has become loose. When the teeth separate from the can, it ceases to function. It's possible to put it back on and hold the knob in place, but it's not worth the effort.
I've used it a few times now, and after each use, I rinse it under the faucet and dry it before storing it. I've never put it in the dishwasher, soaked it in the sink, or allowed it to sit in water for an extended period of time, and it's already rusted to the point where it looks like it's been sitting outside for ten years! It's a complete squander of funds. Purchase is not recommended.
