After buying this container and the salad container, I also bought the bag and they are perfect for me. I was scared compact containers would be too small for me but the size works perfectly for a 30-year-old male who eats a lot. When you pack rice, meat, pasta, or curry you can pack a ton of food in the compartments, and you can pack a few extras in the smaller ones. It is easy to fit 2 oz of sauce in a small container. There was a slight stain on the light gray top of the tray after the first use of pasta sauce and carrots, but that is pretty normal and can be removed There are actually no compartments that shut by themselves, so the band has to be used to keep it together. On the bright side, there haven't been any spillage issues and you can just use one level if you don't need As you can see, the bottom one is much deeper than the top one, so vegetables aren't as comfortable. There are some design flaws with this product, but it is still an ok product.
