This product has a cancer-causing label, but I don't think it applies to my use. I don't scoop feed with it. I scoop out the nesting boxes for my chicken coop with it while wearing gloves. My coop is quite modest in size. I only keep a total of five chickens. Large doors in the front of their coop allow for easy raking and sweeping of the main area. The three nesting boxes are number 11 on the list. 5" by 15" has always been a difficult size to work with. They can be accessed through a roofed area in the back of the building. You prop up the roof and then scoop out the used nesting material in any way possible. For years, I used a modified dustpan with the handle sawn off, which would take four hours to complete. To get enough material in the pan to empty the used material, use 5 for one nesting cubicle. It could never hold a lot of stuff without spilling. I needed to replace the pan because it had cracked. br>This mega dipper is ideal; it only takes one pass to remove the majority of the material that is neatly contained in the scoop - and perhaps one more pass to clean things up. I feel like I've been relieved of a sisyphean task because it's the perfect size. br>It's the perfect product for the job. Life is better when you have small victories!.
This scoop is what I use to pick up LEGOs from the floor in the kids' room. Does a fantastic job.
This scoop comes in handy when it comes to cleaning out my litter boxes. When I empty the litter boxes into a trash bag, they become too heavy and messy. This is much more orderly, and I'll be able to lift the boxes to empty them without making a mess. Litter is heavy, and this scoop is made of thick plastic that is very durable. Cleaning is a breeze.
This was ordered to scoop compost, but it is too large to fit through the loading hole of the composter. poster. It works well for scooping shelled corn out of a 45 gallon trash can. This is then mixed with wood pellets at a corn ratio for burning in my pellet stove to heat the house.
Heavy-duty construction.
It's the perfect scoop for my 60-pound bag of wild animal food.
This scoop will pick up 5 scoops of ice and a 5 gallon bucket will be full, heavy duty plus I use the front, allowing me to use both hands when the ice is low. I'm going to buy another one as a backup because when they make something good, they usually stop making it. I highly recommend it.
Scooping large tubs of dry goods has never been easier. Our new purchases are made of extra thick injection molded plastic, which should last much longer than our previous purchases.
