It is true. Stacking these in your refrigerator or freezer is easy thanks to their size. It is so easy to reheat in the microwave since you have to unsnap the lid, not remove it! They are doing well so far, with no tomato stains at all.
My search on the Internet revealed that Tritan plastic is free of BPA!

It's been three years to the month since I bought these containers. This was the last one that I threw I noticed tiny little cracks radiating from all four corners when I put them in the microwave to heat some food. The cracks grew and spread with each successive microwave use. As soon as the first year was over, they were badly cracked, and I started washing them with kid gloves so they would not In the first case, I threw away the first one after 14 months because it began to leak, and in the second and third case I did the same thing. As I washed the last one, it broke into two pieces. It is my recommendation that anyone buying these should not use a microwave to heat up There is simply no way they can tolerate it.
There are leaks in the lids because the lids don't fit properly. It's a very disappointing experience. Due to the fact they are rubbermaid, I thought they would be great. I made a large batch of chili, and filled them with it. It's a very disappointing experience. The whole group got freezer burnt. I would like it to be done very I will get back to you in a 30 days is the only time frame for returning They are something I would never buy A lot of great products come from Rubbermaid. It seems that this product's lids are no longer snug fitting. I'm not sure why this happened.
There were two things I was looking for -- something that wouldn't stain spaghetti, and something that wouldn't leave a texture on the sides after you microwaved it. This Rubbermaid storage meets both criteria. The result is very pleasing to me. Last night, one of the containers was used to marinate a beef fillet and had no leaks as I shook the container continuously. I was very pleased with how the chicken turned out.
I really like the sturdy plastic in this version (not as flexible as the old I don't notice stains like the red ones, but we'll see how they hold up over time. They're ok, but I dislike the design of the lids compared with the red ones When the lids are closed and hot meals are put in them or microwaved with the lids closed, the steam build up will cause the lids to pop In this case, the red lid would sit on top without being sealed Gray lids don't seem to want to stay on top of containers (without sealing).
My cleaning habits always make me feel like I am not doing My dishwasher broke, so I had to hand wash the container after storing red spaghetti sauce in it for a couple of days in the fridge. There was no spaghetti sauce in the refrigerator so I heated it up in the microwave. My pleasant surprise was that this container did not have any stains and was clear. Astonishment is an understatement to describe how pleased I am. Whenever I see stains on plastic containers for food storage, I tell all my friends because it is such a pet peeve of mine.
Fortunately, I was able to stop him before it could damage the bowl. In addition to looking as good as new, the seal still works well. Microwaved and put on the top rack of the dishwasher, these bowls are still in good condition. So far, I am not aware of anyone placing them on a bottom rack! I really like their appearance and find that they seal liquids just as well as the Tupperware we used before. Our method of disposing of them is to freeze, microwave, and put the dishes This set of bowls will be an attractive addition to your home kitchen if they manage to hold up in a household like this.
Get some dry erase markers too, they work on the sides of the tubs. In addition, you can use a dry erase marker to write on the sides of the tubs, not the lids! way, no one has to guess when the tub will come or what will be in it.
Having lids that do not collect water makes it easier to dry them and they do not attract as much water as the traditional lids. It is also easy to put them on and take them off, but they are.
