Questions & Answers

Would someone please explain how these fit in each of these sizes The ingredients for making bread are flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and small-size flours (e. What kinds of AI flour are smaller in size)?

This is a recipe for a 2 pound bag of Five cups of coffee) If it fits in the 7, it should be fine. A container that holds 8 cups of brown sugar. The amount for Sugar is for a 5 lb bag There should be enough room in the 12 cup container for it. *If you are purchasing a 5 lb bag of cups of tea) 19 is a good spot for it. Container for cereal with a 9 cup capacity. I will need to use a container that fits 16 cups of flour (the 16 cup container won't fit all of it).

Could you please give me the dimensions in pounds and ounces? For instance, will it hold a 10 kilo bag of flour or a 5 kilo ?

You can be absolutely certain that the number 19 is correct. There is no way to hold more than 5 lbs in a 9-cup container. There is enough flour in a bag to hold some extra, but definitely NO more than 10 pounds. Buying two 5lb boxes was the first thing I did. It's time to check the bags. My mind was racing from it! In checking the standard weights and measures for the first time There is a 10 lb measure on the chart. This size is equal to 20 cups. There are 19 cups in this size. There are 9 cups in the urn, and logically, that means it will hold about 10 pounds. It's flour in a bag. My father told me he measured weight differently. He said a pound was 10 lb. By those measures, a pound was The amount of flour in a bag is 36 ounces. The flour was arranged in 11 cups. Neither I nor anyone else wanted to take a wrong turn. For a 5lb capacity, you need one that fits exactly that size. If you want to store 10 pounds of flour, get the Rubbermaid Brilliance 16 cup AISN B0752ZJ5LF, or get two of them. Thanks for reading and I hope you found it helpful!

What will happen to brown sugar if this is used?

There is no doubt that this line of containers seals It may be a good idea to get a clay "brown sugar bear" if you don't already It would be great to have some of these. They're inexpensive, cute and really useful. B000MT65BC is the ASIN for the one I use

Selected User Reviews For Rubbermaid Container, BPA Free Plastic, Brilliance Pantry Airtight Food Storage, Open Stock, Flour (16 Cup)

Although the product is well made, I find the size to be a poor design choice
3/5

Each weekend, there are usually various things to do. My ingredients are organized in rubbermaid brilliance containers, bought for my stay at home mom. Obviously, the containers are not designed for someone who is going to use them every day, despite the fact that they are aesthetically pleasing. There can be no confusion about the design of the flour container since it holds exactly one bag of The restocking process is a very annoying one every time we need to do it, which is every few weeks for me.

Approximately one year ago, I bought this 16 cup size as a flour storage container and it certainly holds 5 pounds. An envelope. This lid is especially useful for me because it is so easy to use. I haven't found any pests in or around it, so you just need to wipe flour off the rim of the container and lid to ensure a good seal every time. The seal appears to be doing the job considering I haven't seen any pests. There is a bug living in flour, and the first sign is holes that appear in the top of the container in which flour is stored. The container was given to me by a friend who suffered from the symptoms of the outbreak (brought home from the store in a flour bag and kept in a Tupperware container) and it frightened me. As of today, I have Asian moths in our pantry. I found them in an unopened bag of uncooked rice. As the moths ate through the soft plastic bag, they made tiny webs, which they used to make cocoons. In my pantry are a lot of cases. Like it all happened in a flash! I saw the tiny webs and wondered how they got there Small, mottled holes are visible in my cotton clothes, and I noticed holes in the bag of rice I bought at the grocery store These moths caused the damage, according to me. People, if you have the money, get the set and make as many things out of it as you can. Or at least get these containers for your flour and rice, and build from there, as Make sure that all of your flour and rice bags have quality seals, and store them in heavy plastic containers as soon as possible. It will at least be contained, and you can do your best to eliminate those bugs quickly and take the issue up with your supermarket. As of now, I store anything that could be contaminated in the freezer, such as egg noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, and.

I love it! This is a lovely and airtight product! It's not uncommon for me to buy flour and sugar in 25 pound bags when I bake
5/5

Sugars such as brown sugar and powdered sugar will go in the two of these that I bought since they aren't used as much by me. It would be very helpful for me if you can recommend a square container large enough to hold 10 pounds of flour and My pantry is stacked with round containers, which I had used for 5 years before they needed replacing. Since I felt these would fit better in my pantry, I bought them. need a bag of flour or sugar to hold five pounds, then choosing the 16 cup size is the right choice.

It is not possible to stack items in the Brilliant Pantry
4/5

In Rubbermaid's product line, there are a few major differences between them Definition a reference. There are some minor differences between the Brilliance "Food Storage" and "Pantry" products, especially the fact that the Pantry items cannot be stacked (highlighted in yellow on It is not possible to stack the container because it is too tapered. The reason I gave it 4/5 was because of the lack of this feature. We are reminding you that the Food Storage (tapered) items will stack together within the Pantry Three different kinds of containers are available for food storage. The following are two and four. I have an 8 and a I bought this four x seven bowl because it holds 6 cups. Because it can store larger food portions like pasta with sauce and meatballs, 8 cup pantry containers are better suited for storing food. The Brilliance line is my favorite for a couple of reasons (1) no food stains (2) no residual odor (3) dishwasher and microwave safe (4) clean design and (5) a.

Storage containers were never on my mind as an item to rate
5/5

I am in my 40s and am extremely excited to have my own I have never had a more satisfactory container purchase than this one. These cups are not affected by food stains, they wash well, and the seal DOES NOT leak! The different sizes you can buy off of Amazon are cheaper than if you bought them somewhere else, so I recommend you get the box set (like I did) and then purchase the additional pieces from Amazon (like I did).

Keep an eye on the The Rubbermaid line is one of my favorites
3/5

It is sturdy, leak-proof, and easy to store The proof is decent to look at as well. Although I have noticed that the measurements are slightly off in the description, I understand it is intended to be a guide. It seems that the problem is that the labels tend to taper toward the bottom on many Listed at number 7, this one is the seventh one. The bottom is actually six inches long, but it appears to be nine inches tall. Due to the fact that I purchased it for a specific purpose, I must return it. You just need to watch the measurements on this product.

With tamping, a full bag of Masa (corn flour) fits. I have never experienced such fast shipping from Amazon before. You had not expected that I'd arrive earlier than I did. Additionally, new Prime packaging was introduced, but the new box design was a challenge to open without causing damage. The new box, which was heavy and cardboard, accommodated my product intact, without any damage. I congratulate your shipping team on a job well done. It was not so long ago that I received my order of 3 Rubbermaid 21 cup slender containers as well as the opaque effects. They were perfect for many types and sizes of 5 lb. bags. You will receive packages of flour. It's difficult to find more stunning storage than this "clear", Rubbermaid Brilliance style. It is very handy that you can remove the snap clip and the lid stays tight. As I was putting off the opening of a new 4, I didn't open this one until now. The weight of this person is 84 pounds. This is the masa de maiz I bought to make corn tortillas at home. The container has been asked if it holds 5 pounds of flour by other customers. There is less weight in this package due to the mass of the mass being denser than flour, but the user needs to not simply dump the contents of a bag all at once into the container. The dry mass was added to the container in three steps, each time tamping the bottom of the container with my stainless steel sink in order to make sure the contents were level and settled It makes me mad to have to clean up a mess. At the end of the third pour stage, tamping and leveling down, there was still one corner to go. The dry masa should be spooned in 5 cups at a time. Yeah, we have it all It filled almost to the brim with the contents of the new container helper. What a relief! Let me now get to work on the tortilla production. I love it. For now, I've given it a "4 star" star rating until I have a chance to fully examine its quality after more usage and time. So far, it seems like it might be an excellent option rather Please accept my sincere thanks once again. It's important to show how great this works by adding product usage photos, but there are no buttons to add a photo.

This container is perfect for storing dry goods
5/5

Some reviews stated that a full 5 lb bag of flour would not fit in its shelf. This is the case with ours. I can fit the whole bag in it (without packing of any kind) with about 1" left over. There is nothing inherently wrong with the appearance of the container. It is easy to use and will fit well on the A couple more of various sizes will be purchased in order to store.
