OXO Good Grips POP Container - Airtight Food Storage - 2.8 Qt for Sugar and More, Transparent

My normal review style is to give positive feedback, but I have a ton of Oxo Pops that I bought over a year ago, and this design does not work at all. It's not clear why anyone would even bother using these in the first place if the seal doesn't work. Here are some photo examples of the new and the old.

In a nutshell, My protein powder is stored in this cabinet in my kitchen. Since the dishwasher is situated directly above that part of the kitchen, it can be humid there. The reason I bought it was that it could fit into the cabinet, seal up, and not let A good seal appears to have been achieved here. As I push the button in, I can't pull the lid off, but as soon as I lift up the button, the lid comes off without problem.

This is an exception to my normal policy of not writing reviews, but I felt that I needed to do so on this one to warn others. There is an older version of Oxxo Pop containers that I have and I have been satisfied with them. It is not worth the purchase of the new containers! Please do not buy the new design containers to save yourself both time and money. There is no airtight seal on the containers, and if you grab the container by its rim it will come off, but this didn't happen with Oxxo Pop containers. However, I am going to have to find better quality containers since I am not a fan of various styles of.

There's no way I can take this anymore. It cost me a lot of money buying the very best ingredients, and these containers destroyed them completely These are not air tight in the slightest. When I emailed the company (OXO) to get replacement tops, they directed me to I am supposed to contact OXO from Amazon. I truly think this is so unprofessional and irritating.

Both of these pop-top containers are from OXO on amazon and while they did appear to work originally, the lids on both of them lost their seal after a very short period of time. Due to the fact that I was past the 30 day return period, I used my warranty by contacting the manufacturer instead. I received a response from the manufacturer two weeks after sending the email. In the email, they asked whether I wanted an exchange or refund, and the manufacturer told me to send them purchase receipts if I wanted a refund. Back then, I sent a reply informing them I wanted a refund with a copy of the two receipts for the two containers attached. The manufacturer never replied to my email after I sent it, and they kept me waiting for over a month before they issued any refunds. Several months later, I was contacted by them and told that this time, in order to get my refund, I needed to mark up the containers and lids, take photos, and mail them back to them. The receipts are a requirement for this project, which would have been stated in the first email asking for them. It is recommended that you look for containers from another company if you are very concerned about customer service.

The flood waters receded, but about a week later ants flooded into my house in a massive migration. Almost everything was a part of them! All of my pantry items were thrown out, and I scoured the internet for something that would permanently stop them from accessing my pantry. When I found these, the reviews were raving, so I ordered them right away. During the time I was waiting for them to arrive, I called a pest control company and scheduled an appointment to have them treat As soon as these arrived, I placed my new sugars and spices in them. This happened because I had some ice cream in a previously clean sink, and I placed my bowl into it. There was an influx of ants when I awoke this morning! I was in full panic mode since it wasn't until the next day that the pest control guy would arrive. It was hard to believe I was such a fool. Even after cleaning ALL my counters AGAIN, everything in my cabinets was untouched! I swept everything again and clean all my counters AGAIN. Even though they came close to the cabinet, the ants stayed away from it. The sugar was so subtle they couldn't even smell it! It would be impossible to survive without these containers. The possibility of flooding is no longer a concern for me. You will be amazed at how easy they are The product OXO made is amazing and I would like to thank them for that.

Returning this one. My first impression when I took it out of the box was that it was There is a decrease in the strength of the container compared to the previous realize that this is a First World problem, but the incompatible nature of the container also conflicted with the rest. In the past year, I've been purchasing one or two each month, and I really When I opened the pantry, I was always happy to see them. This new one will be returned, and I will not be buying any more. I haven't made one of these containers for the first time. It has been many years since I had the other one. My brown sugar stays fresh for a lengthy period of time in this container. I bought this to store my white granulated sugar, but the lid does not seal properly. Our home is located in Oregon, and after only a few weeks of usage, we have noticed that the sugar is hardening into clumps. As it turns out, I should have listened to what others had to say about this movie. In response, I wanted to have a nice cabinet in my kitchen with the other one, as that is the only good thing it does.
