They state the glass is BPA free, but not the plastic lids. In spite of their high price point, I decided to buy them and was blown away by how well they lock. The good news and bad news are that I could not even pry open the lid In the event that you have mobility issues, arthritis, or some kind of grip problem, these might not be the right thing A situation like this has never happened to me However, I was able to remove it by soaking it in hot water. If you press all the air out when putting the lid on, you might not be able to remove it. It also takes a little force to get them to snap on, which you wouldn't expect. The other aspects of this product are durable and nice, but if you are looking for complete BPA-free material, it isn't listed on the package and you may wish to get something else.

We have gradually begun replacing our old plastic containers (some of which didn't even have recycling symbols. That's how old they were). They all had I selected this set because it suited my needs perfectly. It's great that the glass fits snugly, along with the tops. Two reviewers complained that the lids were difficult to seal. At first, it was difficult to close a couple I just closed the three that closed easily, then used both thumbs to push down to close the fourth one. Other than these, all of the others are extremely easy to open. Keeping it clean Clean-up is easy, and it is nice to not have to worry about old plastics leeching toxins. There is a lot of thickness and durability in the glass. At a reasonable price, this product has excellent quality.

This is why I like them so much. It's easier for me to control how much food I keep in glass than in The nesting feature makes it so easy to fit them to cabinets. The seal also seems to be perfect and they wash up well in the dishwasher. While I wanted to give 5 stars, I heard a glass noise when I lifted the smallest square container out of the medium and large size. By inspecting the piece closer I found that it had chipped on the edges from being lifted out of the pot, I guess from scraping the edges? When I was introduced to this product, I was so excited, and I really didn't expect this to happen so quickly. The only reason I lowered my rating was because of that. Although I am still using this product and am loving it, I hope it was an isolated incident. It was not my intent to ask the vendor to replace the chipped item, however, since I feel they might have been able to do it adequately.

My only complaint is that the rubbery piece that keeps the seal in place on a couple of the bowls was defective.

As a result, I was quite surprised they were so heavy, but I liked that it means they won't break So read the specifications since the sizes weren't as big as the pictures. Glass containers are the only type of containers I use, and this set had plenty of bowls to serve Buying it turned out to be an excellent decision. There are air locks on the lids, which prevent spills. The lids are sturdy, not the uniform plastic lids these come in. The ones on my ceramic bowls make life so much easier especially if you carry your lunch with you every day.

I checked them out and they're nice and quality. My excitement though is for the brand new ones that don't have any broken parts.

Some of the tops can be a little tricky to push down. This is great- I like them a lot Stacking them well and finding that they are heavy and of good quality is a pleasure. The sides have to be aligned perfectly to latch, or the latch will not engage. It has sometimes been so hard for me that I've just given up and put plastic wrap on They don't do this often, but it leaves them between a 4 and a 5 I give this one a star. Although I'd get more, and would hope that other bigger/smaller sizes would be available that would still nest. I really like how well they work.
