They are made from thick, rugged plastic that is well-made. Although they won't last forever, I have to say our kids put them through the ringer every day with food, dishwashers, backpacks, sinks, etc. All of these tests are being put through. I think even when they are full of liquids and are tipped over (hmm. The boys, we're talking about are 10 years old), Our family is busy and active, so this is big. Their stackability and the fact that the lids are interchangeable with the larger sizes of 16 and 32 ounce containers are great features. The entire fridge and cupboard now has more space for storage. Additionally, we will be able to use them for meal prep for the week ahead as well as for freezing. I am considering getting rid of all other plastic containers in my kitchen storage to make room for these little containers of joy. There is not a single thing I would criticize I was really surprised by how well they turned out! You can't go wrong with it!.
One of the cups had a crack in the bottom, making it useless for liquids and other items that require **The remaining cups have gone in the dishwasher and do not appear to have suffered any damage but there is a small amount of warping from being squeezed that has gone away after they are placed back into At the moment, I have pumpkin puree in 5 of them. Stacking them proved to be simple and they appear to be sturdy. Because they already stand tall, stacking without additional support is not something I would recommend without additional support. When I open the refrigerator door, they wobble. A quick leak test was done by putting about a cup of water in one, putting the lid on, and shaking the device upside down for a few seconds. It didn't leak at all, so that's a positive. The lids and cups from Reditainer can be used on my 12oz and 16oz containers, which I had purchased before. As a whole,
They are solid as far as their purpose is concerned, except for the initial breakage. There are 3 of 24 broken on arrival out of 24. This is not a good thing. The next time I need bulk quantities of food storage containers, I will go back to Reditainer.
It's so amazing that they're so good! My experience with the containers in the microwave and freezer was excellent! I would, however, suggest removing the lid while heating and putting something else on top of it when heating because the covers do not hold up well in the microwave. As well, I can tell you that when I first made the soup and was carrying it in my lunch bag, it tipped upside down and not a drop spilled.
This is for making freezer meals for my postpartum period. These containers work for me because I have a deep freezer and meals in stock with a newborn and family close at hand. The ones I received did not have a strange smell or plastic smell. Upon further inspection, I discovered that they did leak if you filled them too high. To avoid exceeding a certain level of fill, I only limit myself to a certain amount. Although these can be washed and reused, I am not sure how many uses you'll be able to derive from Whether they are used for soups or stews, they do a great job at freezing.
It did not click on the containers when the lids were lifted and closed. I spent 8 hours preparing food only to find that the lids wouldn't fit when I filled the containers. It is very disappointing to receive The product I ordered from this supplier failed to live up to my expectations. I have bought many orders from this supplier in the past.
I've been making chicken stock for as long as I can remember, and Ina pulls it out of her refrigerator when she's making soup. I don't know what she is making but it sounds good. What's for dinner? Is it gravy? What is raising? I will give you a taste of what we do at Le Creuset, and you can stock your pantry with these and good vanilla, then pretend Jeffrey is coming home for dinner, and you wish you were making something special for him. Drinks to the party will not be forgotten.
During the cold weather, especially, we enjoy preparing recipes in batches to be used later. I like coming home to a large container of frozen, homemade soup, stew, or chile. All I have to do is microwave it and it is ready to eat. It can be used time and time again, and has survived multiple trips through the dishwasher, microwave, and dryer. Highly recommended, and we will be back for more. We also make them in other sizes.
