I made a layer, 6" birthday cake for a friend (recipe adapted from Sally's Baking Addiction blog's article on baking smaller 6 Inch layer cakes; I used the Lemon cake recipe with butter cream frosting). This smaller carrier was the perfect size and allowed me to safely deliver her cake to her, with the carrier serving as an added bonus. For the record, I used Sally's recommended Fat Daddio 6" cake pans, which I also purchased on Amazon, and my cake layers baked beautifully and evenly, and released from the pan without a crumb.

It's the Perfect Size! This small cake carrier is ideal for a six-inch cake

My cheesecake was transported in mine. Most of the time, I have to use my full-size cake taker, which is almost always too big for most refrigerators. This one is small enough to fit in almost any refrigerator! It can be used to transport or save slices of cake, cup cakes, or any other baked good; the only drawback is that snapping the lid in place and unsnapping it is difficult. Having said that, I'm a big fan of this tiny container.

I gave it two stars because of the size; I'd been looking for it for a long time just because I wanted a smaller one that would fit in my 6 inch cake pan and wouldn't take up too much space in my refrigerator; I compared for a long time before finally getting this one; however, it was still bigger than it appeared on the page; it was over 8 inches inside the carrier instead of outside measurements, so it could fit an 8 inch cake not just a 6 inch cake; plus, the same size

Although the product photos make it appear larger than it actually is, if you're looking for a small cake carrier, this one will suffice. With plenty of room on the sides, I was able to fit a 6 inch three-layer cake. Because the lid clearance was limited with three layers, I had to leave tall toppings off until serving.

It's not very sturdy, but I like the size, and the plastic appears to be cheap

On the sides, the handles seal and hold well, but they appear to be easily broken off. I really like the size of it. It's the perfect size for a 7" round bundt cake, which I make all the time. (It's also the right size for an InstantPot springform. ) The top handle makes it easy to carry, and because the sides keep the bottom in place, I don't mind doing so.

This is the exact size I was looking for to store and transport my Instant Pot cheesecakes! Size is ideal - The locks are sturdy, but they're a little difficult to close - It's not a major issue - They are dependable, which makes me happy!
