They didn't need to be wrapped in plastic because they came that way. We, on the other hand, had planned ahead. To be safe, I washed them first.

I am frequently asked to make a specific cake for special occasions or holidays. It's a tall cake that needs to be refrigerated for three days before serving in an airtight container. I've never had a cake carrier that was tall enough, tightly sealed, and easy to transport. Something prompted me to look for ways to store and transport cakes on Amazon during the Christmas season, and I discovered these. They work perfectly, and I don't have to transport a container home at the end of the event. I'll continue to buy and use these carriers in the future. I'm not sure why I didn't think of them sooner!.
For my holiday cakes, I needed four cake containers. These are the same ones you'd find in your neighborhood bakery or grocery store. Seal the outer edges into the inner edges with your fingers. On the cake boards, there will be some movement. I used bundt cakes, which worked out perfectly. When you need to seal something and give it as a gift, this is the way to go. I'm going to buy some more of these.
It was a little more expensive than I had budgeted for. They were used on a total of five different cakes. There were four of us traveling, and the cakes were safe. One of them stayed with me and made sure my pound cake didn't go bad. I gently washed it in preparation for using it in another cake. The cardboard plates were extremely useful.
I intend to place another order. I ordered these plastic cake holders to see if they could be used in place of the boxes I'd been using. They don't have a lot of stability, but they're reasonably long-lasting for the price. However, I'd prefer to see a box with a larger quantity. One thing to keep in mind is that they are only for a limited time. I'll be placing another order.
Overall, I'll order from you again, but this time with Wilton cake boards.
It worked well for a two-layer cake that was about 3 1/2 inches tall, but it was too short for a three-layer cake that was about 5 1/2 inches tall. It was, however, very sturdy and easy to transport.
It didn't even come close to fitting my cake. Hopefully, when I hand it over to the birthday girl, it will be undamaged. But it does the job, and it's a lot taller than other containers. Plus, it came in a pack, so it was a good deal. It's just not as strong as it once was. It's similar to the containers used for shopper's cakes.
The weight of these containers is extremely low. The black bass appears to be in good shape, but the clear plastic domes cracked easily. Because the round cardboard bottoms don't fit into the base, they slide around, making it even more difficult to keep the cover in place. I had to tape them to keep them from tearing, but even that didn't work. I would not purchase these items again.
