No, it only cools down to 55 degrees, not raises the temperature to that level.

The sc pro 4000 does not come with a ducted system. Whisperkool makes ducted models, which Amazon appears to sell.

What are the dimensions of real-life wall cutouts?

The cutout must be the same size as the unit's outside dimensions - W x H: 25" x 15" As close to 75" (H) as possible. The unit is designed to fit snugly between 16" centers of wall studs. The owner's manual can be found on our website, along with a lot more information.

'Dead on Arrival' is a phrase used to describe a situation TWICE

The first two units I received were both dead on arrival and had the COH (Condenser coil overheat?) alarm code. I noticed the fan in the back of the unit was not running in both cases. It took a lot of phone calls, emails, and follow-up. After a few setbacks with product support, the third unit arrived and, thankfully, did not have the same COH issue. With two false starts, the entire process took around 4 weeks. It was, without a doubt, exasperating and time-consuming.

It's a lot quieter and more productive

A WhisperKool xlt series cooling unit is installed in my Tahoe vacation home. It had served its purpose for many years but was in need of replacement. To replace it, I purchased a new Sc pro. I just finished installing the unit in my basement and am blown away by how quiet and efficient it is. The air conditioner isn't used very often, but it keeps my cellar cool. The mounting bracket, for example, is a potential stumbling block. Attaching it to the unit is a bit of a pain. They should make a better bracket, in my opinion. Aside from that, everything is running smoothly.
