Yes, it is. My first attempt was with a recipe I had for soy yogurt. Since the coconut milk I used wasn't smooth, it was like yogurt with bits of coconut, but it was still yogurt. I hope this
My knowledge of the subject is limited. In my experience, as long as the milk temperature is the right temperature and you warm up the plastic container, it seems to hold the heat for a long time. I hope
The Yukon made it while I was putting it on. filled two milk milk cartons with hot water and put the Yougotherm inside the cooler. The house stays cool because we do a lot of air conditioning. I really like how this works.
There should be no need to wash the foam. There is only the inner bucket that can be removed and placed in the dishwasher on top shelf. The bucket is sealed before it is placed in the outer container lined with styrofoam, so I have never noticed any odor in mine. It is the Styrofoam that serves as an I'm so glad I found this product. I am on my second Yogotherm in just a few months This is the first one I've worn You can easily use them and they don't require electricity or moving parts to make yogurt. For those who want to make their own yogurt, this is a must.
The first time I used the Yogotherm, the yogurt came out soupy, but that didn't bother me because I was making Greek yogurt. Wow, my Greek yogurt turned out wonderful I was able to make two quarts of organic yogurt with the Yogotherm the next time I used it. I placed it in a thermal bag with a towel on top and ten hours later it was ready. It really does work. Using electricity no longer to make yogurt is wasteful. My only wish is that the two quart bucket were not It would be great if it were made of stainless steel or glass.
It seemed logical to take a yogurt maker, but the issue of current and voltage were an issue. The Yogotherm looked promising, but I was leery of it, so I visited Amazon and other websites to see what others said about it. After I looked around, I found no complaints, so I decided "what the heck!" It went into the shopping cart and was ordered. would also add that I didn't want all those )
I love it (or perhaps in three words). I love how easy it is Once you have heated the milk, let it cool briefly, add the starter, put it in the container, and leave it for eight hours. You are The Greek yogurt must of course be strained over again for at least 8 hours if you want that The preparation process takes about 12 hours, so you don't end up with a great deal of yogurt, but the result is delicious! If you additionally add a 1/2 cup of nonfat powdered milk, the yogurt becomes firmant.
I do add an extra step of putting a jar of boiling water in the Yogotherm with the lid on to heat the foam. As a result, your yogurt will hold more heat as it.
One of these was used by me a number of years ago and I found it to be surprisingly useful. As much as I would like to get one, the cost of a piece of plastic and foam keeps me from getting one. I finally gave up after trying all the other DIY ways to make yogurt at home with disappointing results. My morning yogurt is Greek yogurt, but the price of Greek yogurt is prohibitive, as well as all the plastic containers that accompany it. Making delicious yogurt is a breeze when you use this method. You don't need to use electricity with it, so it's foolproof. There is nothing not to love about this? There are a few drawbacks. But once you recoup your money (and save a lot of plastic tubs), you are set.
About five hours is all it takes for the yogurt to become Every time, you get perfect results!.
I like it a lot! I think it's great.
I have tried goat milk yogurt and also whole milk yogurt, and it has been a very good investment for me.
A great yogurt can be made in a matter of minutes.
