Opening the dome is relatively simple, but how do you do it?

Remove the dome by unscrewing it. In the last photo in the listing, there is a photo of how it looks when the dome is off.

I like this concept a lot- It was not executed well

You screw the top plastic piece to the base in the same direction, so when you connect the top piece to the base, you just screw it tighter It is impossible to open when you take it off the base once the lock is removed. There are a lot of people asking how to open the lid The concept is defeated by the difficulty of it.
