I am making yogurt at 115 degrees and the temperature of the meat inside my thermometer reads 120F. I'm stuck because there is no way to adjust the temperature. The yogurt is still very liquid after going past the nominal 8-hour time period. My poor little bacteria must have been baked by the high temperature. My plan is to cook it another 4 hours and then throw the stuff out if it doesn't thicken up.

I have used this machine long before I began eating vegan and make my own soy yogurt since it's hard to find it in a store near me. It always turns out the same way. I set it for 12 hours. Even though non-dairy yogurt does not set up as firm as dairy yogurt, the result is still creamy and pleasing.
