For me, I used mine for longer times than recommended on the recipe. The last time this happened, I was gone for 20 hours. I found the yogurt to be excellent and perfect. My suggestion would be to give it 24 hours.
The process of making vegan yogurt is the same as that of making dairy-based yogurt After milk is made, it gets cooled and is used There has been a rumor that coconut milk may pose a greater problem. If you want to make coconut yogurt, you can see recipes online for it, too. I suggest getting your feet wet with higher protein milks first, because they are more likely to set up properly. In the case of store-bought milk, or cold milk, you can heat it in the same manner as with dairy milk, though plant milks can often become thicker than regular dairy milk, if you heat them for the necessary amount of time.

A machine that had only been in use for four months failed. During summer, condensation collects on the dome top of the unit, and a flaw in the product allows it to do so. A unit at the grocery store roasted my yogurt yesterday (cooked it to 130 degrees F, a higher temperature than yogurt is supposed to reach). The moisture inside the machine accumulated (and the unit is welded together so that it cannot be separated) and damaged the thermostat, which is why it was unable to regulate I wasted a quart of organic milk (plus the cultures I had added) and I am without a machine now.
My only suggestion is NOT to use the clear plastic dome top on the machine, when you do purchase it. Use a napkin or paper towel instead. A machine that is not properly maintained has a high risk of becoming damaged as well. if you fix it then, it may not be able to live much longer. Although it was great when it worked, the cost for only four months of usage is not worth it to me.
A purchase of this model was made in February of that year. The appliance's temperature control stopped working after using it for about six times in a one and a half year period. In this case, the ferment would become too hot, destroying (overcooking) the Having a 3-year warranty on the base unit, I contacted Euro Cuisine customer service in September and they sent me a new base unit. I am sorry to report that the same issue occurred with the replacement box. This device has stopped maintaining its temperature after using it five times over a period of one and a half years. There is no cool down after the temp reaches 160 degrees rather than staying under 100 In both instances it resulted in two batches being destroyed. I also contacted customer service and was told the replacement unit does not have a 3 year warranty, only the original purchase does. Replace it would not be an option. What you said isn't correct It is also essential that the replacement unit is covered by warranty. This model appears to have a problem with the temperature regulator. There was a problem getting a response from Customer Service this time, so I imagine it is an ongoing issue they don't want to deal with.
As my first batch began, I used a cup of Stoneyfield Organic whole milk yogurt, and the second batch started from leftover ingredients from the first. This large glass container is great for me as I want to avoid using as much plastic as possible, I can spoon out what I want and I do not have to deal with a lot I had to cook this for about eight hours until the consistency I wanted was achieved. It has been pointed out that the yogurt maker was moved during incubation in some instances, and that could be why some reviewers' yogurt came out runny. In the instructions, there is only one small reference to not disturbing the container while it is incubating, so you do need to resist the temptation to check on it. Another thing I like is that the heater will also fit a qt size mason jar, although I have not tried using it in lieu of the provided container. The yogurt maker I found is the only one that had all the features I was interested in, since I had reviewed dozens before finding it.
This yogurt maker is supposed to replace my 8 year old Euro Cuisine yogurt maker, which died. The past 8 years saw me making yogurt nearly every week, so I guess it was finally time to say goodbye. My first attempt at making yogurt in an InstaPot was in this age. When the first batch came out, everything was as follows It was a total disaster for the second, third and fourth batches. Since I have been making these for years, I used the exact same recipe For starter batches of yogurt, I used 4 C instant milk (Great Value from WalMart) and 2, Euro Cuisine freeze dried yogurt starter envelopes, if I did not have a starter batch. It is best to heat the milk, then cool it before adding the starter, then let it sit for 14 hours for thick and tangy yogurt. I have been making yogurt with the new yogurt maker for several months and am enjoying it even more. There have been some changes to WalMart's milk The music I like although it is a little dated. I almost think it's Greek yogurt, but it doesn't require I would prefer this to Nancy's which I used to purchase in the past. By the end of about six batches, I had recovered the cost. As I do, yogurt is totally worth it, if you eat it every day.
