I have my doubts. It is well insulated. Myself and other reviewers have been using it on our countertops, and so far I haven't seen anyone complaining about their damaged countertops (some neoprene types stain, but not this one).

perfect for a quart container I recently purchased it and have only used it once, but I can already tell that the temperature fluctuates less. After reading reviews about how Neoprene stained some counters, I decided to go with this option instead. I didn't want to risk losing my tops. I'm much more confident that this product will not damage my granite tile, and I like that the front window allows me to peek inside without having to remove the lid. I also believe that the lid cover contributes to heat retention and can be easily stored when not in use. It's attractive, made of high-quality materials, and appears to be well-made. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
The material on the cover could be thicker and the cover could use some work. The sleeve was a perfect fit for the Rubbermaid 12 quart container. All you have to do now is make sure it's on properly. Pay attention to the handle holes, and the measuring lines in the window should be visible. Otherwise, it's the equivalent of putting your underwear on backwards. You'll be able to wear it, but you'll be uncomfortable and annoyed. It would be preferable if the material was thicker. A thicker insulation will keep heat in better, according to physics. I'd compare the material's thickness to that of a thick felt. The lid is nothing more than a floppy blob that sits atop the container. It technically performs its function, but it has a cheap feel to it and can become waterlogged. I'm going to stick with the underwear analogy. Nobody wants their underwear to get wet. To install the lid, you'll need to grab a pair of scissors and cut it to fit your sous vide machine, which I liked because it'll work with any sous vide machine unless you're bad with scissors.
After reading reviews, I bought this for my partner after he got the sous vide he had been wanting for a long time, as well as the Rubbermaid container and this sleeve. Some neoprene/other fabric reviews claimed that the high heat caused some of the sleeves to bleed/stain countertops, but this one did not. This sleeve feels like a thick, sturdy felt; it adds a nice texture to the kitchen; I like that it's energy efficient and maintains consistent temperatures; and, most importantly, I like that it looks like a pretty, classic item on my counter. The sleeve also includes a lid topper, as well as specially marked outlines for cutting out the exact opening for your sous vide, which I thought was a nice touch. If our house has a kitchen mishap that we can't fix, I'll definitely buy this again. clean. That is the only disadvantage I can think of. It's not the easiest thing to keep clean.
But this did a fantastic job. I recall it going up and down by two degrees, which may not seem like much, but when you're cooking meat for several hours, those few degrees can make a big difference. It's possible that this is the difference between medium well and medium. I like the front pocket because it's where I store my temperature-related recipe cards. br>br>PS: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words " br>For my weight, I use a small coffee cup. Those small little 4 oz coffee cups that no one ever uses for coffee because it's not enough work perfectly. For a weight, this is ideal.
This device does a fantastic job of keeping my container warm. It appears to be well-made, simple to set up, and to fit perfectly. For my container, it's a sweet sweater. I paired it with a BPA-free lid like this one: In addition, I only cut around the lid's hole. I'd be better protected that way.
It's the ideal size for my container. I'm not sure how much energy it saves, but it does keep the water warm for a long time after the sous vide device has been turned off, so it must insulate well.
After receiving our Anova Sous vide cooler for Christmas, we spent a long time looking for the ideal container setup. We found only a few non-neoprene covers, and this was one of them. The material is a thick, high-quality felt that perfectly fits the 12 quart Rubbermaid container. The top of the cover has stitching to indicate where you should cut it out for your Sous vide; we've only used the corner cutout so far, and the fit is excellent, and it almost locks onto the Sous vide when installed. In addition, the insulation value is quite high. After we finished cooking and turned off the heater, the water remained hot for several hours. In conclusion, this product is one that I would recommend.
I decided I needed something to reduce evaporation after having to add water several times while cooking at 169 degrees for 5 hours. I was planning on having my wife knit a sweater for my container, but I thought this item would be better and less expensive. I was able to complete another high-temperature run without adding any water thanks to this sleeve.
