In reality, it is harder to use than it should be. In the case where the food/bags are loaded before being placed in water, they fall apart. There is difficulty aligning and securing all the pieces in the case where the water is placed first.
Even though this component is very easy to assemble, it does not hold itself down because of its weight. Trying to cook a few bags of vegetables in this thing caused the entire rack to just float up with it the very moment they started to float! In those photos, the top bar enclosed the bags as well. As far as I can tell, most cuts of meat do okay and don't seem to be as challenging to keep from floating to the top and escaping. A second problem that I had with this item was that small specks of rust began to appear after just a few uses (and I had completely dried each rack after Rust is my greatest worry because I fear that it will somehow stain my sous vide cooker.
All in all, I am extremely pleased. Although it is really easy to put together, it does not come with any instructions, not even a detailed picture of what is meant to look like. The majority of it seems intuitive, but I had to locate the long bar on Amazon to identify what it is Other than that, it appears to be a good start. A 12qt container is well suited to the container. BREAKING UPDATE We're still rating it the same, but the top bar is not usable because it's too long to make sure it stays in place.
I am very pleased with the way this rack works! The first test was done on carrots, which turn into floaters every time. There are more channels on it, as well as a bar at the top to keep the bags from floating to the top like with the rack that comes with the unit. The thing I'd like is to have had this no one knew what sous vide A feature I really like is the ability to change the width of the channels so I can do more vegetables at once without floaters and another time, I can reduce the dividers to fit something like a trifle An advice. My favorite piece of furniture is.
In a nutshell, The soups vide container works well with this product. If you check my current usage, you'll see what I mean. I was so frustrated with lids falling all over and sometimes making it difficult to open drawers. My sous vide cooker is worn out! I need to buy another!.
Is good at what it does. A review that deserves an exceptional rating is not warranted. From the picture, it appears to have rubber bottoms which would prevent scratches to the container, but in fact it does not. To prevent float, the top bar should be longer it is too short. There were a few things that were different from what was.
It offers a lot of configuration options to suit any occasion, whether it is for a roast, steaks, or a complete meal in a pot! I love it!.
