Selected User Reviews For EVERIE Sous Vide Container 12 Quart with Collapsible Hinged Lid Compatible with Breville Joule Sous Vide Immersion Circulator Cooker (Side Mount)
There is a statement on behalf of the manufacturer that the product contains chemicals that could cause birth defects or reproductive issues. That should be clearly visible BEFORE ordering the product!.
To make the top hole larger, you would need to make it larger.
Honestly, this container is fantastic with a sous vide wand cooker. I purchased this lid to go with my Joule sous vide cooker, and it helps keep evaporation as low as possible on longer cooks such as beef The pros are Lids made specifically for my sous vide cooker, the neoprene sleeves are automatic counter protection to prevent spills, and the container is plenty big enough to hold a whole chicken breast. The cons are The size of the meat you want to eat here will not fit. You will need to cut beef rib racks before putting them in the neoprene sleeves. The worst con might be the smell of the neoprene. There is a strong smell of rubber coming from it.
In a nutshell, The Joule fits this one quite nicely because I saw another review in which it was mentioned that the Joule did not fit, but this one does! In the bucket, there is a hole at the center. Exactly what I was looking for. Despite its fragile appearance, the container is very durable.
Joule has been used with many different containers, most of which were round pots, but I did use it once with my big 18-quart If you wrap the pot in a towel to insulate it and place a foil lid with a cut out for the Joule, it works just fine, but then it serves as an eyesore on the counter while you cook the brisket for 48 hours. I use this 7 quart container for most of my cooking because of its size and shape. It is easier to fill the smaller container since there is less water to put in and I do not need to add towels as you do with a larger container. There is more security in the lid than in It is also easier to put a vacuum in the port because it is much easier to put a tube into the port. If the sealed bag or two are of smaller size, then in a rectangular container they will be easier to wrap around the Joule. The shrimp or fish can be placed in a single layer in a plastic bag, then the bag is bent at the bottom so that the food will fall below the surface of the water, and weights can be added to keep the bag in place. The bag, after it had already curved vertically after coming from a round pot, could not be curled In my case, a third of the way is enough to cover a pound of shrimp or fish, and I let it cook for a long time without any issue. As long as I was careful in arranging the contents and filled the container more, I could probably cook two or three pounds of something else if I filled the container all the way up.
It is the first time I heard of this product and tried to order it for my fiance, but none of the parts were.
The lid lift on the package was broken when it was received two days before Thanksgiving. Table of contents. Taking advantage of the discount because I was in need of a container for Thanksgiving The performance is not impacted by the defect. My turkey came out perfect when it was cooked medium. It was a surprise to me that I could fit two breasts and two legs, but I did not have any difficulty. At the time I am writing these words, I am eating my second pork belly. I like the size of the container and the lid does keep evaporation to a minimum. It's great to have Joane back! A secure structure is located at two The container seems sturdy while the lid, particularly the hinges, seems to be a little light and Having used sous vide cooking for quite some time now, I consider it a worthwhile purchase.
Hole is too small for Anova sous vide wand. Fits a lot of things, but not Anova. The information would have been helpful before we made the purchase.
