It can fit burrito-sized tortillas in it. The Hamilton Beach was a bit on the small side. This is perfect, so I'm going to give it a ten.
No, the plates can't be taken off.
China
It's the size of two and a half burgers, not 11", as my quesadilla maker is.

In a skillet, I created quesadillas by hand. This is a lot less difficult. Given that this is a machine, it took a few tries to get it right, but once I did, it was a piece of cake! I'm aware that it's not possible. I took out a little insurance by wiping both top and bottom with a paper towel soaked in a little oil and I was good to go! br>It also takes up very little space because you can stand it up when you're done.
I enjoy making quesadillas, so having a dedicated quesadilla maker is an excellent addition to my kitchen. Because some of the parts are flimsy, this quesadilla maker falls short. The small lip that holds the lid to the bottom and keeps it closed broke off on my first use. I made three quesadillas and had to use a towel to keep the lid in place because it was so hot. I'm thinking about returning it for a refund, but I'm not sure I want to get the same thing because of the aforementioned issues. If you don't mind holding down a hot lid for about 6 minutes, go for it. This is my first quesadilla maker, and I chose it because it bears the George Foreman logo. br>The remaining components appear to be in excellent condition. made. Non-stick plates are used on the hot plates. Quesadillas are easy to make with a stick. I still sprayed PAM cooking spray on the surfaces as a precaution. br>However, given the current issues with the lid's latch, I would not recommend it. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> When I contacted the seller about the broken lip of the lid, he offered to replace it or refund my money. I chose to have a replacement sent to me, and it arrived quickly after the defective one was received. I prefer sellers who stand behind their goods and are willing to work with you without being shady. I would recommend purchasing this, but keep in mind that the latch is extremely delicate, so close the lid with caution. I'm changing my rating to a four star because of the excellent customer service, and I've already used the quesadilla maker once since receiving the replacement, and it's fantastic. I'm hoping that future upgrades to this product will consider making the latch out of aluminum or another durable material.
I noticed the lid on the quesadilla maker was extremely loose as soon as I took it out of the package. I wasn't sure if this was a common occurrence or a defect at first, but when I tried to use it, it was clear that it was defective because it was extremely difficult to use. The maker gets extremely hot, and because the lid is so loose, it's a little risky to use. Very let down. I'll send it back to you.
This quesadilla maker is good, and with a few tweaks, it could be fantastic. To begin with, let's look at what's positive: Preheat the machine according to the instructions and spray the top and bottom plates with Pam spray. When the machine is still warm, it is simple to clean. Improvements that could be made: If you use a lot of ingredients, you won't be able to lock the top to the bottom. The latch could be improved by adding a second notch. Instead of floating, the top can now be locked. The bottom line is that it is good, not great, but it is better than the competition.
Working with this company is a breeze.
It's ideal for those who don't enjoy cooking. This was fun to make into a quesadilla. It's simple to use and clean, and it doesn't create a lot of mess or require a lot of cleanup. The only difference I've noticed is that it's much smaller than the website suggests, but it still functions well. The nozzle for opening and closing it is a little flimsy, so you have to press down quite hard to get it to crisp up properly. Overall, it's a good product, and I'm happy with it.
This is an excellent product.
Place a stale item. fold it . Allow the maker to complete the task by walking away. Then, with scissors in hand, cut it into quarters.
