Is it possible to use this tortilla press with flour tortillas?
Flour tortillas can be made with this dough, but due to the nature of the dough, they tend to be thicker than corn tortillas.
What country does it come from?
It's made outside of Mexico City by a father-daughter team!
What is the extent of the paint deterioration? All I want is a press that isn't going to break. ?

It states that there are six. 5" in one spot and 8" in another - What is the size of the object? 8" is what I'm hoping for. ?
It's around 6 o'clock, but it's a fantastic show!

Paint that has chipped

Although the product appears to be in good condition, the interior has been chipped. I was already wary of paint, but the chip added to my worries that the paint might be ingested. I'm going to look for a different product.

Verve Culture was contacted by email. mail. I received a response in less than ten minutes. I sent a photo of the broken press, and a new tortilla press, along with a couple of sauce bottles, arrived in less than a week. br>They have excellent customer service - They genuinely care about their customers and the artisans they support. br>I have no hesitation in recommending Verve Culture to others.

Don't make any purchases! Paint has started to flake off

This is something I got for some friends who prefer to make their own tortillas rather than buying them from the store. To make tortillas, they always end up using far more tools than are required. They loved the feel of the cast iron when they first opened it up.
