Questions & Answers

Are these cookies thin or thick when they come out of this iron?

Dear Wendi, I am writing you. Pizzelle is meant for a traditional thin thin pizzelle, you can easily increase the thickness to your liking, but when you say "thick" I think of pizzelle in general rather than thin pizzelle. I hope this was helpful

The pizzelle maker I found at the thrift store was brand new You can buy a box for $90 without having to purchase Can you please tell me how much batter I should ?

Here is the copy of the instruction I sent. I BOOKED this. I hope it was clear to you

This cookie tin size pizelle has the perfect shape and size
5/5

The first thing I want to mention is that I've been baking pizelles with Villaware bakers since I was a kid. I remember my grandmother having one of the first pizelle bakers, and the unit lasted her over 30 years. Villaware products are meant to be cared for, and they'll look after you in return. I would use the full size 5 inch pizelles baker for years to make my petite pizelle and try to determine the appropriate amount of dough to drop on the iron in order to make several different cookies that would all fit nicely inside of my cookie tins. A full-size iron can only make 2 pizelles that are slightly smaller this method removes the guesswork and saves a great deal of time. Making 4 at a time in about 1 minute beats only making 2 'slightly smaller' pizelles. So, so, so! If you're looking to make the full-time switch, you'll need to pay attention to several things The size of a traditional-sized room If you want to roll your pizelle into 'ice cream cones', or if you are creating a specific size. A baker like this is NOT what you are looking for. If you want to buy two pieces at a time, you should find a baker who makes two at once. This is the recipe if you want crispy pizelles the size of your typical chocolate chip cookie. Put this item right now in your shopping cart by clicking the button! )New to eating The enclosed recipe book can be used to prepare the dish. The original is included (hey. . . it's not a joke! There is no substitute for the real thing. Italian. Straight from the country. Oh, I see. For those of you that are new to pizelle baking, here are a few additional notes It might help to scrub the iron with a stick of margarine. The baker claims not to use chemicals Heat tends to cause issues at the end of a batch for some bakers, but I haven't seen anyone who is completely immune to it. There's nothing worse than to feel the heat from this little unit (and all the others out there)! You'll also want to avoid making the dough ahead of time and refrigerating it, as you would with other cookie baking. The day before you plan to use your dough, make your dough. In addition, a shortcut that requires no fuss and no muss is to fill a pastry bag with You should use the pastry bag and an end of a pastry tip to disperse the dough. If you drop the dough using a spoon or cookie baller, you will use 'every last drop' and have less cleanup to do. I have one more thing to add. Don't be afraid to try new things! Adding anise oil to the original recipe (to create super tasty pizzelle) isn't the only way to make them! If you like, you could even add amaretto with coco powder and tahitian vanilla extract. What are you going to do with the extra time you have? If you would like to drizzle them with chocolate (dry them on wax paper for about 15 minutes and store in an airtight container), you should do so. You can count on them to be a success! I wish you all the best with your baking.

4) 3" mini pizzelles are made in 1 minute, and taste great! There are other reviews saying the product is edible but they fail to tell you that it does not double as an ice cream cone as Amazon suggests in its This is about a 3" circle that is too small for everything but With these curled up into bowls, they hold a bit over an ounce (30cc), so whatever dessert you prepare it will They do taste great, though, and if you put a small scoop of ice cream on top, add one or two red raspberries (3 black raspberries wouldn't work) and a little of your favorite sauce, you have a tasty dessert
4/5

I think it would require at least 3 to 4 months The average guy will only need 4 to be satisfied, however. You should probably go with the 5" pizzelles unless there's some reason why you'd rather have them tinier.

It's a beautiful Pizzelle baker, I love it! It arrived 2 days ago and I made almond pizzelles the very next weekend (even with free shipping)
5/5

Despite their small size, they were hugely successful. About 20 homemade Christmas gift baskets are made each year, filled with jams, quick breads, and Pizzelles will also be part of this year's bag of goodies. The fact that they are 3 inches instead of 5 inches is awesome. The chances of them breaking are less when you make 4 at the same time. In addition to purchasing a Quattro Pizzelle Baker for myself, I also bought a second.

Stroop Waffels are a great use for Stroop Waffles
5/5

There isn't a better pizzelle maker out there. It is important to note that the size of the four items is 3" and one is lighter. I used it to make Dutch treats called Stroop Wafels by cutting it in half and filling it with any type of Stroop I had on hand.
