I'm not sure how many ounces there are, but it's not a lot. It's not big enough for more than two people, in my opinion. Any more than that, and you'll be filling it for the rest of the night.
In general, no. I'm sure there's some heat transfer, but it doesn't spoil the food in everyday use. Perhaps if you prepare it ahead of time and leave it out for a long time.
Around 12 oz., I'd say.
It's an electric lamp with a short cord. It can only hold one dip at a time, so it's not practical for groups of more than two.

It's SMALL, it's cheaply made, and it doesn't heat up very well; you have to heat whatever you're doing to put it in first, then it might keep it warm. It has a capacity of less than a cup. Buying is not advised.
4 people. This was purchased for a date night, and I was blown away. While it was heating up, I added the chocolate and prepared my fruits. The chocolate took about 20 minutes to melt, and I left it on high heat until I was ready to serve, and it stayed perfectly melted even after I turned it to warm. The next time I make it, I'm going to try it with cheese. I am extremely happy.
Instead of melting chocolate, we used small chocolate chips from the baking section of the supermarket, which worked perfectly. Cleaning is a breeze. We're looking forward to putting it to use once more!.
It's incredibly easy to put together and maintain. To save a little time, I recommend melting the chocolate first in the microwave.
It's easy to operate. However, with only 25 watts of heating power, it took us 30 minutes to get started dipping between heating up and melting the chocolate. When the chocolate was melted, it stayed in a nice consistency.
It was simple to assemble, clean, and use, but my melted chocolate, which I'd used many times on the stove before, was too warm on the bottom and burning, and the top was too thick to dip into the chocolate easily. The food would break or fall off the forks if you didn't scoop carefully. It didn't impress me, but it is very easy to use.
This is only appropriate for small gatherings.
Because I was impatient, I used the microwave to melt the chocolate. However, the warming option ensured that the chocolate remained perfect, and it was a hit at the party.
