It's a good size, but I'd get a smaller one if you only need it for two people. br>However, this product is excellent for ant fondue. br>We made cheese, which was a lot of fun!
It's made for everything from low heat (chocolate fondue and cheese fondue) to high heat (oil fondue). It's quite effective.
Yes, I think so. It ought to suffice in that regard.

We had another couple over for a cheese and chocolate course today after this little marvel arrived. Dash included a lot of thoughtful extras for a complete experience, and everything cooked perfectly and tasted great. The cheese and chocolate slipped right out of the nonstick pot when it was time to switch between courses (and clean up at the end). All of the parts can be washed in the dishwasher. We're looking forward to putting it to use once more!.
For my mother's birthday party in September, I purchased this fondue machine about a month ago. After two to five minutes of turning it on and placing the chocolate in the pot, we smelled something burning, so I followed the directions and set up my fondue machine. The bottom of the fondue machine apparently burned the table, leaving a circle as soon as we unplugged it. My mother and I pushed it over to avoid further damage to the table, but it only resulted in more circles. It's easy to imagine how hot the machine's bottom became. My fingers (photo attached) and my mother's fingers were burnt when we pushed the machine's base over. To put it mildly, this was not the party we had planned. The chocolate in the metal pot was not warm, so it did not melt, but the bottom of the pot burned my table (see photos). I purchased this fondue machine based on positive reviews and the attractive color, but it was not worth the money. We'll need to purchase a new table now. br>br>If you're going to use it - It is not something you should purchase. It will wreak havoc on your belongings and may cause harm to your loved ones. br>br>I wish I could return it, but the return period has passed, so I'm stuck with a broken fondue machine. 0 out of 10!.
I was concerned about how it would be received, but it was a hit with the family. It was just as simple and delicious as going to Melting Pot! The youngster has already expressed interest in repeating the experience! br>br>I was concerned that it would be too large for the dessert portion, but it turned out to be just right.
The product features (4) and Amazon's outstanding customer service (2) are the reasons I gave it 5 stars. Unfinished (-) 1)br>We have a tradition of sitting together on New Year's Eve and eating a "long lasting and delicious meal. " Fondue, as well as Raclette, is an excellent choice for this occasion. We've had a fondue set for a long time, but we decided to upgrade to an electric version because using a flame to heat the fondue could cause a fire hazard. Our old fondue had previously caught fire, which was a little frightening. The fondue was ordered in early December, but we didn't get it until December. 30 minutes to clean it before putting it away for the next day's use. Everything we received appeared to be in good condition, but we did not receive everything that was advertised. There were no forks in the room. I connected with Amazon (the digital assistant) and was offered a replacement without having to return the incomplete set, despite the fact that I had only asked for the forks. Advantages: br>br>
- It appears to be contemporary and quite lovely - It's all in the eye of the beholder, as it always isbr>- It was a breeze to unpack and set up.
- It's simple to clean the pot after a cheese fondue or a chocolate fondue. To keep the surface in good condition, avoid scratching it with your forks.
- Inside the pot, there are min and max markings that are useful. br>- br>- Heats up quicklybr>- This is a great way to pass an hour or more while dipping, eating, and conversing. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The power cord is far too short! Approximately 3 ft (1 m? )
- The connector is magnetic, and it detaches from the pot quickly. br>- Cups are a slap in the face! In comparison to the minimum, it's far too small. For the pot, a certain amount of cheese or chocolate is required. The term "minimum" refers to the minimum amount of information that must be provided There is far more cheese than can be used with the contents of the cups; simply use your favorite and larger cups instead. br>- If you fill the fondue pot to the minimum level and serve it to two people, there will be plenty of leftover cheese/chocolate. br>br>To sum it up: Despite its flaws, this fondue set served its purpose, and we were able to work around the above-mentioned issues by using an extension cord, our own dessert cups, and the fact that we were four people with a healthy appetite.
It's completely nonstick and temperature-adjustable. We purchased two, and so far neither has had any problems with temperature control. It came in handy for cheese and chocolate. We haven't tried it with meats yet. But, because it only gets to a rolling boil halfway through, I don't think we'll have any problems. The trays are a little on the small side, but that isn't why we chose this brand.
I can't give it five stars because I don't believe the design was thoroughly tested or considered. Filling all of the side cups to the brim was insufficient to provide enough food for dipping. It's likely that all cups will need to be refilled. 4 times. The skewers would frequently scratch the bottom of the pot, quickly wearing down the nonstick coating; instead, they should use wooden or silicon skewers, which are softer and won't scratch the pot. I'm not sure why, but as soon as it was brought up to temperature, it seemed to turn off on its own. In the manual, I couldn't find a reason. We had to take a break in the middle of our meal to completely unplug and re-plug everything to get it back up to temperature, and we weren't eating slowly, so we were eager to get back to eating. If you don't watch your food stabbing into the cups, the cups and bracket will tip the entire unit sideways, and the extension cord could be longer. You will need an extension cord unless your table is literally a foot from an outlet. There is a metal disc that is supposed to hold the skewers in the pot, but they just And these are all things we noticed right away after using it, so, as I previously stated, I don't believe it was thoroughly tested in the kitchen before being released. I also noticed that around Christmas, Bed Bath and Beyond had it for $10 less, so I'm not thrilled.
