It was quickly heated. The safety shut-off was a big plus for me. It's also nice to have on the table for family gatherings because it's turned off. My ONLY major complaint is the instructions. br>br> br>br>The instructions they provided are extremely difficult to understand. Don't give the user any crucial information. I had to make do with guesswork because this was my first fondue container. The instructions provided by Google are neither useful nor user-friendly. [Example:] br>br>[Example:] br>br>[Example:] br It makes no mention of the ability to cook in both the white ceramic and metal containers. Because the cheese would not melt in the ceramic container, I assumed you could do both. ]br>br>In addition, instead of separating the four languages, they mixed them all together. You'll need to devote some time to extracting the instructions that you can comprehend. Make sure you don't miss any sections. br>br>If you look at the photo of the first page I attached, you'll notice that I only highlighted the English parts in green after each headline (headlines are underlined). re- (The text is red). br>br>These are by far the worst instructions I've ever seen. Furthermore, the four "recipes" they included only list the ingredients. portions. They don't know how to prepare them or put them together. Finally, six small circular legs with small rubber inserts are attached to the bottom of the heating element. Three of the small rubber inserts were included in my package. I staggered them, which worked, but I'd appreciate it if the company sent me some extras.
For a fondue party, I bought this. We have two sterno fondue pots that we have used in the past, but we wanted a new one that had 1) an electric element. 2) a ceramic pot that fits inside the metal pot for better heat control Cheese will benefit from it. the flavor of chocolate We made cheese and chocolate fondue in the fondue pot (rather than on the stove, which meant less cleaning). This also went well with the main course of coq au vin. I hope to use it again in the future.
This was primarily purchased for the purpose of making chocolate fondue. The first issue I have with the directions is that they are extremely ambiguous. There are no instructions for making chocolate with it. So I looked under the product information for questions people had asked and filled the stainless steel pot beneath it with water. I added too much water because I didn't know how much to add, and the boiling water poured out of the pot and all over my table! We unplugged it right away and drained the majority of the water. Everything was great once I figured that out. The chocolate was melted and kept warm by this device. I'd give it a five if the directions were clearer.
This set was a Mother's Day gift, and we've been using it with beef, fish, chocolate, and cheese for several days now. The set is simple to use, with clear markings on the metal pot for liquid levels. The unit we received did not come with the white inner pot, but the seller was fantastic and has already sent us a replacement insert. br>br>Overall, this is one of the nicest home fondue kits we've ever used or owned. br>br>Many thanks to Artestia for yet another excellent product!.
We only used it once, but it was very effective. It quickly heated up to a very high temperature. However, the steel pot was probably not the best choice for cheese. It took a lot of effort to get rid of that. Aside from that, it's great!.
I used it for a Mother's Day dinner with my family, and we made a cheese fondue first, and then an unsweetened chocolate fondue later. Trying to melt both the gruyere and cheddar cheeses was an interesting challenge! They were completely melted. I finely grated the cheese and then melted it in-- It, on the other hand, did not melt. The cheese was burning at the bottom if I increased the heat. So, no matter what we did, we ate globs of cheese that were anything but liquid. I tried cream, but it didn't work, and broth didn't work either. It just sort of lingered there. Despite being completely melted, it is still soft. br>br>Even worse was the chocolate fondue! I made it in a separate pot, adding cream to it, and it melted nicely in the pot, but when I transferred it to the fondue pot, it didn't stay melted, and if I turned it on high, it burned the bottom. br>br>So, while it's cute, it's not quite what I was expecting.
It's not as expensive as the one I wanted to buy but couldn't because it was sold out. I'm glad I got the Artestia Electric Chocolate instead of the other options. Set of Cheese Fondue - I bought a second one because it was so useful at our family and friend gatherings. It's been used for cheese, chocolate, and oil fondue, and it's been a hit with my guests. During our gathering, a few of them even went online and bought their own.
The set is both attractive and functional; it heats up quickly and keeps a consistent temperature. The ceramic insert is substantial, well-made, and thick. On the day it arrived, I made both chocolate and cheese, and they turned out beautifully. I made the rookie mistake of adding too much water, which caused it to boil over quite a bit. But that is entirely my fault.
