It's hard for me to believe. I was worried at first because it didn't seem to be working, but it's a safety feature that it won't turn on unless there's a jar underneath it, which is a brilliant idea, so the magnet that keeps the can top from falling into your item won't be a problem because it's cut around instead of down. It comes in a variety of colors and is extremely slim, requiring only two AA batteries to operate.
I purchased this can opener in the hopes that it would be useful at our church. It's fantastic. I'm unable to use hand crank models, but this one is simple to use and cuts beautifully. It was delivered quickly and is small enough to not take up much space. Thank you very much!.
Oh, my. Yesterday, I got the can opener, put two AA batteries in it, and then put it on a tuna can. After a 5-minute break, A flimsy piece of metal holding the can in place popped off on the second turn of the can opener, irreplaceable.
We had to learn that the cutting wheel retracts, and that if it isn't, you must hold the metal lever on the bottom and press the large top button until the machine cycles to off and the cutting wheel retracts.
I eventually opened it, installed the batteries, and pressed the button - nothing. I changed the batteries, but it didn't help. polarization has shifted - nothing. I just got a new battery package - nothing. I'll have to replace it for the third time this year.
This can opener is convenient because it runs on batteries and takes up little space. It helps me keep my hands free. br>br>At first, it's a little tricky to use, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. You must ensure that the front of the opener extends all the way over the top. It removes the entire top, including the edges, rather than just the center portion.
The first one that arrived was damaged. After about a half-dozen cans, the second one arrived broken.
This has made me very happy!.
