This item should never be purchased. It's only been successful 5 times. The opener became stuck on the sixth can and refused to open or shut off. To stop it, I had to remove the batteries, pry it off the can, and open it with a standard hand held opener. After that, I tried to use it on another can, but it wouldn't latch onto the top of the can and thus wouldn't open anything. It was a complete waste of money!

My daughter thought she smelled something after 5 minutes, and I assumed it was just the cat leaving us a gift in her litter box. I got a whiff of it about 10 minutes later. The can opener was hot to the touch when my daughter picked it up and dropped it! The batteries were scorching hot when I grabbed it! It wasn't even turned on when I got there! As the batteries melted in front of my eyes, I had to use a tool to pry them out. After I installed the batteries, I would normally put it in a drawer. I left it on the table for some reason, which was a good thing! Be wary of the buyer!.
It's a little loud, but I think that's minor compared to the fact that it's completely hands-free, which is great if you have poor grip or pain in your hands. There are no sharp edges, either.
What a strange coincidence! It will no longer attach to a can in order to open it. The last three times I used it, it wouldn't let the can lids go. It was probably used 8 times in total. I initially liked it, but soon became enraged and frustrated because this is the fifth can opener I've bought in the last five months. I'm tired of squandering my hard-earned cash on ineffective can openers! They're not going to take it back now.
It doesn't even try to be useful. It clings to you and screams like a toddler being dragged from the grocery store's candy aisle. Save your money; this is not a worthwhile investment.
The previous review has been updated. I couldn't get to work, so I was planning to return, but I decided to give it another shot. Everything went smoothly! I'm not sure what I did or didn't do at first, but it worked, and I've been using it consistently ever since. I bought three of them, two of which were for gifts. They've been tried and tested by recipients and have proven to be successful. We are all pleased with this opener and would gladly buy more to give as gifts.
This was purchased for a special needs friend who only has one arm or hand. It is something he adores. It is simple to open cans because it operates on its own at the touch of a button. Cuts around the side of the can, so you won't have any trouble getting the cut lid out of the can, which requires two hands. So far, I've had it for four weeks. This high-quality unit has allowed him to resume doing what he enjoys, and it also cooks! I'm going to go out and get one!.
This can opener was a recent purchase that I thoroughly enjoyed. It's simple to use, convenient, and hassle-free; all you have to do is press a button and wait for it to work its magic. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to my friends and family.
This was a gift for my mother, who suffers from arthritis, and when we all gathered to see if it worked, we were all quite impressed. It crimped the can's edge in such a way that it avoided the sharp edges that have sliced me on several occasions. br>br>At first, it didn't appear to be working, but when we lifted it, it went off! Open can. To be honest, I'm thinking about getting one for myself.
