I no longer have the product, but I seriously doubt that it will work on the container in question. I wouldn't do it if it were up to me. My model was injured while trying to open glass quart containers.
It can open the cap of a litre soda bottle, but the bottle is too tall to fit through the opening. Bottles of olive oil, catsup, and small jars have all been opened. This machine is fantastic!
This machine is fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone who has trouble opening jars, especially seniors or women. I've only purchased used items from Amazon, and they were all in excellent condition.
They're JW200 and only have open jars on Ebay. It also serves as a can opener. JW400. My copy was purchased in 1982, at the height of their popularity. My rubber things are starting to wear out, so I'm in desperate need of a new one. I have no idea why B is doing this. It was no longer made by D. It is a fantastic item. I saw some for JW400 on Ebay, but they were quite expensive. Not $46

For years, I'd added one, but it finally wore out. It's difficult to come across them. It was in good condition; the plastic had yellowed slightly, but that was noted in the advertisement; and it was well packaged. It was a little pricey, but since I knew it would be twice as much, I had no complaints.
My hands are affected by arthritis. As a result, opening cans and bottles is a difficult and painful experience. This dual opener comes close to being perfect. br>Pros: It is extremely light. The cutter on the can opener is easily removed for cleaning. The cans open quickly, and the jar opener performs admirably. It is extremely light.
Cons: Not all jars are compatible with the jar opener. It will not open if the jar's top is unusual or excessively tall. Make sure you read the directions carefully. The can opener is a little finicky at first, but once it's up and running, it's fantastic.
For the first time in years, I was able to open jars without assistance for the first time in my life. The can opener is just as simple to use, and the combination saves you money. When I was home alone and trying to prepare meals ahead of time, I lost many of the joints in both hands, and it was impossible for me to open any cans or jars. br>br>Most people do not read the instructions, which are 9-pages long. 1/2 inch tall and 9-inch wide 1/2 inch tall, and it's worth it to me to give up the counter space for the time and pain it saves me. (I was able to get rid of two cans by using this method. ) I had a hard time using some of the openers). br>br>Please read the instructions before using this product so that you can get the most out of it.
This was a gift for my mother, who suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis and needed to open jars. The can opener is excellent, but the jar opener is useless.
To use a can opener, the cans must be small. It works well for opening jars.
This is a fantastic product; after having both thumb joints replaced, it is extremely useful. Not only does it open cans, but it also opens jars. It easily removes the lids. This is a must-have for anyone suffering from arthritic joint pain in their hands, and I bought one for my 89-year-old mother as well. She can still cook for herself and be very self-sufficient with this product. "It comes highly recommended. ".
When the top of a jar was opened, the part of the opener that grasped the lover part of the jar would not release the jar. For the opener to work properly, I had to use duct tape on the grips. That isn't even close to being new to me. Unfortunately, I missed your message in October and did not notice it until today, when I was going through my old emails. That was an astronomically high price for a shoddily refurbished item.
I have yet to encounter a jar that this thing will not open; It even takes care of those vacuum-sealed fruit jars with ease. If I had one complaint, it would be that the can opener lever should be used with caution. It's nice that the lever can be removed for cleaning, but it can also be removed easily if it's up. It's not difficult to put it back in, but it's a pain.
