There is no BPA in the tray, but the rest of the plastic used here is laced with this. During our discussion in 2018, the BPA content of the plastic was confirmed (except for the trays). It is worth noting that there are other vendors out there who refuse to use BPA near There's no need to touch it to make it Using this unit even though the trays themselves are BPA free can cause your food to become contaminated with BPA depending on how you heat up the BPA plastic.
It has been 8 years since mine started. In any case, I keep it on a hard surface (countertop) with plenty of air flow. Over time, the carpet fibers and dust will greatly reduce the performance of the fan. This is a kitchen appliance - it does not need to be exposed to all that dust 24/7. It would serve no purpose to put it on the floor, would it?

It turned out that something in the machine inside was faulty at first. We first thought the house was on fire. The problem was discovered to be a broken motor (surprisingly quickly, as though this occurred often. ) They then asked me for shipping and sent me a replacement instead of returning it to me as is usually the case under warranty. You can mail the damaged device to the makers, and you will get a new one. After a short break, the motor returned. You can replace it by following the instructions provided. Even though I have a background in engineering, the steps they describe make this project too complicated for me to complete. It's easier to buy a new device. But be cautious!.

In studies on rats living in bpa cages, studies have found that bpa can occur in the rats. There is an emission of gases from it. You may like it if you are into health stuff like I am, but it is very What about the inside of that container? What's the reason?.
As of September, we bought a "Excalibur 3926TB 9- inch" in stock From Amazon, it is available as a "Tray Electric Food Dehydrator. ". My family uses dehydrators almost every day I admit that we use them all day, and I take them everywhere. On the other hand, we also purchased a "Costzon 630W Electric Food Dehydrator 10 Drying Trays Food Preserver Fruit Dehydro Commercial" from Amazon last September. We still have a very good working Costzon dehydrator. It costs less than half as much as the Excalibur dehydrator, and it lasts much longer as well.
It is the best food dehydrator I have ever used! The smaller one I had was not large enough to hold much food, making it frustrating to take the time to prepare food to dry only to be able to do so little of it at one time. I decided to get this Excalibur model and am so glad I did. With this dehydrator one can do a five pound bag of sliced potatoes plus several trays of other produce at the same time, while my other dehydrator could only handle about three pounds of sliced potatoes. I love it having this much I'm a little new to food dehydration, so I refer to a book I bought for instructions on how to prepare food items and for how long they should be left to dry and what temperature to dry them at, then I follow those instructions and I've been doing just fine. Food items can fall through the open plastic mesh trays of my old dehydrator while drying, but that won't be a problem with the polypropylene trays on this one An insert for the screen tray is included with In the future, I will shred potatoes and dry them so I can have hash browns on hand whenever we want them, without worrying that they will slide through the mesh or the screen In the meantime, we rehydrated some to see how they would taste, and they were as good as We find that canning is so much more useful for our purposes than that! As a result, I have a large All American Pressure Canner, which I no longer want. (I also bought some non-All American pressure canners). The stick liners are said to be used when making fruit leather, but I have not yet tried them. My regular dehydrator didn't have like as good an air flow as this one did, so vegetables are drying faster even even when set at the same temperature as the other machine did. The fan makes a little noise, though nothing that bothers me too much. I am delighted with how easy it is to use, how clearly it tells me when the time is up, and how easy it is to clean the trays up.
