I am not a fan of fruit purees. While it can sleep, it cannot sleep by itself. If you're looking for a sheet like a fruit roll, or something similar without holes, you should use this.

The tray has rounded edges, so trimming it to size would have been easy, but I didn't do that and turned the sides up along the tray rim instead. Smaller pieces are kept from falling through the holes when products are removed from the tray. As far as the center hole is concerned, I didn't change it. Although the mesh rides a little high as a result, stacking is not affected, and airflow may be enhanced between the mesh and the tray. The product I received was exactly what I expected.
I really like these. I use them in my Nesco dehydrator with great results. What I don't understand is why I didn't get more mesh liners for it earlier. I find it so much easier to just place cut veggies directly onto the tray without having to worry about smaller pieces landing on gaps in the tray, so it takes me significantly less time to load the trays. Additionally, this keeps the trays clean so you don't have to wash them every time they are used, and the liners are easy to clean since food does not As a result, the center holes needed to be a bit larger for my model, however trimming them appropriately is straightforward. While I would prefer if they were a little thicker or stiffer for a little easier handling, they work perfectly well, and the material appears to be very durable, and I believe they will withstand heavy use without issues. This product is great for cleaning, easy to use, and mostly easy to maintain. Dehydrators are among the equipment I have and I was looking for screens to match. The knives have worked great and have been in daily use since purchase. The next time I buy these, I will buy more.
My dehydrator came with a translucent screen which is quite rigid and rigid. This screen is much more flexible. The fact that I didn't appreciate that at first wasn't a concern, though moving here has been fine.
