I've owned three cheaper (non-commercial) machines before, and they're all solid commercial machines with excellent customer service
4/5

Before purchasing this Paragon, you should look into cotton candy machines. My old ones were either broken or broke within a month of receiving them. I finally made the decision to invest in the Paragon, and after more than a year, I can honestly say that I have no regrets. It's never broken down, and I've always received OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SUPPORT, from the first time I used it to when I needed replacement parts. It's a reliable commercial cotton candy machine capable of handling large crowds. My only gripe is that due to the burned sugar, it occasionally smokes. The answer is simple: Allow to run until all of the sugar has dissolved and cotton candy has formed. This gets rid of it. Was my evaluation of value to you?.

We bought this for elementary school fundraising and it's a fantastic machine with great customer service from Paragon
5/5

It's a hard worker. I kept it at home for a while so that I could "practice" with it. My keto diet was ruined by its presence! It's incredibly simple to work with. Make sure the leather floaters are adjusted, or you'll end up with cotton candy all over your floor! Smoke alarms will be activated if you use this in your home. Work near the kitchen fume hood with the windows open. Cotton candy will find its way into every corner of the room. I'm still scrubbing "cobwebs" off the ceiling. I recommend purchasing the bubble; it does not completely contain the cotton candy "dust," but it does help to reduce the mess. br>br>Paragon (aka Manufactured Fun) also has excellent customer service; I sent a question in the evening when I received this item, and it was answered before I finished breakfast the next morning. (They are in Iowa, and I am in California. ) They've also been extremely helpful with other inquiries.

This machine worked perfectly for about 8 minutes before shutting down
3/5

This machine worked perfectly for about 8 minutes before it overheated. I contact customer service and they keep sending me different pcs for me to fix the machine it is ridiculous I own 6 gold medal cotton candy machines and they run great after 3 years and never had a problem, yes I did go for the cheaper price to test it out and it will be the last time I purchase this machine because I have a year warranty and the company has not resolved my problem yet just sad I have never experienced this with other companies under warranty I am still waiting for them to resolve my problem I am still waiting for them to It's just a shame that I squandered my hard-earned money with a corporation that doesn't care about its customers. I really hope Amazon can help with this. I've been emailing the company once a day for the past few days and I'm just tired of it. A loss is a loss.

BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!   What is the state of this company's operations? When the machine is turned on, it makes a terrible grinding noise
3/5

I did, in fact, release the side tension bolts; I've owned other machines before, but none were as bad as this one. There are no bolts. Metal shavings are coming out of the head, which makes a grinding noise. And now it's up to me to package everything up and transport it to the UPS store. SMH. Thank you, Paragon. br>br>.

Making my own cotton candy is one of my favorite things to do
4/5

This machine is far superior to the first one I bought, and it should be. The only thing I don't like about it is the ribbon - I paid twice as much for it. the manner in which the sugar is melted It's a screen with a heating element wrapped twice around it and soldered to it - a loop and a loop Because the sugar becomes "stuck" in between the loops and does not melt, a significant amount of sugar is wasted. But I suppose that's an unintended consequence of making cotton candy. br>br>Now, I'll tell you that, even with the plastic mesh, the cotton candy did not "form" well/properly on the sides of the barrel. As a result, the sugar fluff caused a sugar fluff storm to erupt throughout the room. I finally decided to buy the bubble dome - Unfortunately, this was a very costly addition to the machine, and it did not help. In fact, it aggravated the problem. There was a tornado inside the dome, which made it impossible for the floss to stick. I finally figured out that keeping the heat on a little longer made it stickier and adhered to the sides better. It isn't perfect yet, but it is improving rapidly.

This machine is a bit difficult to use right out of the box, but it has great customer service
5/5

After a frustrating first attempt, I put it away for a few weeks and went back to my cheap Vbenlem machine. The Vbenlem machine is more user-friendly, but it has issues with stability and fuses. br>We took the machine out and tried again with customer service; Toni, the US-based representative, stayed on the phone with us throughout the troubleshooting process and even gave us some additional advice. It now runs smoothly and produces excellent floss. The machine works well, though the instructions could be clearer, and the customer service is the best I've seen in years.

At my outdoor farmers markets, this machine is proving to be a champion
5/5

At my outdoor farmers markets, this machine is proving to be a champion. Hundreds of cotton candy bags have been produced by me. My only gripe is that I paid $530 for it three months ago, but it is now only $445.

There are issues with shipping
3/5

I ordered this product twice; the first time it arrived damaged in shipping; the second time it arrived with a dent in the side, torn leather pieces, no instructions, and one of the main parts missing, the mesh that goes inside the bowl to keep the candy from flying to the sky; however, the motor worked fine.
