I do not think that this item will fit the vortex machine. It is slightly too large, and it vibrates, rattles loudly, and rotates as it revolves around the bowl. This does not stop the floss from flying out of the bowl. It still flies out and in every direction. To ensure that the mess is no longer created, I ordered the net to wrap around the bowl. If you spent this amount of money you would expect it to fit properly and the floss should not be falling Since the thing sits on top, it cannot be snapped into any place since it can only sit on top. I'm not sure who said the thing snaps into place because it is impossible for it to snap into anything given how it is made. My word is my bond, I double checked.
As the manufacturer's top did not fit my VIVO cotton candy machine, this was a perfect fit. This did the job just fine! For a staple fit, the cushions are definitely a plus.
Is there some reason why the shield could not be added to the machine? Therefore, if you have a cotton candy machine, you should purchase this item, even though the expense may not be necessary. My initial impression was that I would be wasting my money as an amateur cotton candy maker. When I tried to use the floss, I realized that it would have ended up in my hair, on the ceiling, on the walls, etc. It really makes it easier to form the cone of cotton candy and makes for a much more enjoyable event and one that is less messy.
It is amazing to see the dome. I hate that it doesn't snap into the Vortex machine, and it is quite loud when it shakes Our approach was to install a rubber tube around the circumference of the bowl, cut a slit in it, and roll it around. The dome is kept in place by this mechanism There is still a way to wash it.
The purpose of this product is to make cotton candy indoors without it flying around. I was unable to get it to fit my machine, and it rattled like crazy, and the foam pieces it comes with are merely plain. There's no point and it actually made the cotton candy fly everywhere even worse than when it wasn't on (who would have thought) I sent it back.
When you read all my reviews, you will discover I have been very generous with ALL of the products I have reviewed. In that regard, this one does not fit The Vortex, regardless of the arguments in support of it. However, there is more to come! I know what you're thinking it doesn't only NOT fit, but it also does a poor job of keeping cotton candy in and from flying out. It's a good thing I'm not a vampire. Don't go near it. This is not a quality product that you would expect to purchase for 70 or 80 dollars.
But it came with a sloppy foam tape on top. The product is in good shape, and came with ugly foam tape sloppily attached, but it does not rattle or make any sounds like other reviews have reported. It would have been better if the tape had just been included so I could have applied it more effectively. A lot of work needs to be done on the opening. The language is a bit harsh. I expected perfect quality for this price for a big piece of plastic. Despite some minor scratches, the product was good.
It wasn't expected that when it arrived that this bubble would be so large. The cotton candy machine is very loud when it is in use. It was so loud, I stopped the machine from being used, but then all the cotton candy spilled over into I love it. It was my first time using one of them, but I think I'll find a way to cushion the lid so it doesn't sound so loud in the future. You might be able to tape it.
