This is a solid product. As long as you continue to add sugar, it will continue to grow. A few minutes after it starts, it really starts to work and stops throwing out crystal sugar. As a result of turning off the heat, the motor has been running to cool it. It takes some time for the floss head to cool, as it is made from a billet of aluminum. that if it spins without heat, then the whole thing will be able to cool.
