Do you know if the skillet can be put in a dishwasher?

Please accept my heartfelt apology for the gift I bought you. One of the first ones, bought by someone else last year, was for my mother She needed a new farberware electric skillet because her old one had broke down. Presto is better than her old farberware because the heating component can be disengaged and the lid and bottom can be washed in the dishwasher - she swears by it! It has been done a number of times by her. also add to avoid hard scraping on the cooking surface, and cooking bacon turns out fantastic!

I get the impression from the picture that the skillet is a single piece that sits on a stand. That's the way it is, isn't it?

I believe you're correct. The skillet is made from one piece and the handle is attached to the bottom. There is nothing I like better than Breaded chicken cutlet is often what I prepare, but in the past, I've used other skillets that have warped, making the chicken unevenly cooked. There hasn't been any warping of the presto skillet, and I would be very surprised if there had been. It is also very easy to clean up.

Whenever I use my electric skillet, I make pancakes, casseroles, and other dishes. Setting the control is straightforward and cleaning it is easy- The process of getting up is easy. The reason I hand wash mine is simply that I think it protects the finish and extends the life of the appliance.

AWESOME! Best electric skillet you've ever used! The old one I have gone to my kids so that they can take it in my RV when they travel

It was impossible for me to live without one, so I ordered one to replace the one I gave My Presto with a solid colored tan dome lid lasted years before it finally died, so when it died I replaced it with this type. No other brand is as good as Presto, and this one is the top of the line. This program is always on my computer and I have never been disappointed!.
