After turning down the heat to 200 the second day, I cooked salmon and rice and it was absolutely delightful. I bought the product as described (nice compact size 12"). It was delivered on time as promised. Presto skillets are good but have a limited lifespan like their competitors. The more likely it is to be used (as it is here) It is likely to be replaced in 3 years.
To avoid using the stove during the summer, I bought this skillet exclusively for the purpose of using it in the summer. This was one of the best decisions I had ever made. Grilled cheese sandwiches with this grill are delicious. It takes up little space, cooks evenly and makes the best I don't have to keep getting in and out of my way, since the cord is short. I will definitely purchase another one of the same kind when the time comes to replace it.
