Questions & Answers

What are the three main accessories that come with this product beater with a flat surface How do you make dough hooks)?

It is true. Including the wire whisk, the flat beater and the dough hook, this mixer allows you to make both bread and biscuits.

Can this KitchenAid be purchased with accessories?

Here are 3 basic attachments for you to use You will also need the wire whip, flat beater, and spiral It should be noted that the reburished or renewed mixer does NOT come with a knob for the bowl lift. It is true that the missing knob is not a big deal as it does not even appear to need one and we can still use the lever. However, KitchenAid stated that they do not put knobs on their rerefurbished mixers since it does not affect the use of the product. Yet in the booklet that came with the mixer, it mentions one, but that is for all new products. It is worth noting that KitchenAid places a sticker over the warranty page in the replacement booklet, noting that there is only a 6-month warranty for refurbished models. Within the 6 month warranty period, a defective mixer will be replaced with another refurbished product, which makes complete sense.

What type of power cord does this mixer have? For example, do you have a three-pin or a two-pin plug? Also, does it run on 110 or 220 Volts?

There are three It must have a two-prong power cord and be 120 volts/60 Hz. When you search for this item on Amazon MINUS "certified refurbished," you will find the full-price version A price is listed and on that page is a link to the specifications in a pdf file.

The seller refused to refund the full price of the item because it was faulty
3/5

In my profession, you cannot go wrong with kitchenaid mixers. I’ve been using them for at least This mixer is the next step in my mixer upgrade after possessing my previous mixer for over 10 years (it is still working perfectly, by the way). I purchased the mixer refurbished for the first time, I received it promptly, everything looked good, and no parts were missing. It was my first time buying refurbished. After I received it, I failed to test it out as quickly as I should have. This mixer was bought in September, but I did not need to use it until the holiday season. As soon as I turned it on, I noticed it made a lot of noise. It was extremely loud and sounded like metal scraping against metal (even on the slowest setting as I did it without the bowl or accessories). There is no way our previous Kitchenaids or the KitchenAids we use at work make that much noise. I think it was a defective item. It was returned to me, but a partial refund was granted. As a result, I'm out $80 that they still owe me as they referred to it as a "restocking fee" even though their refund policy clearly states that they do not charge the fee on defective items. We attempted to contact Amazon several times, but after a few failed attempts, the seller (always quality) still refused to give a full refund. Their emails were extremely rude. Don't engage in any of their activities. The final outcome for me was that Amazon refunded me what I had been.

Ensure that you are purchasing from a KitchenAid authorized In spite of my attempts to turn it on, my unit wasn't able to turn on
3/5

By turning the dial back to off, I was able to get it to work this time. This is a statement I repeated a lot. There is a problem with intermittent power. Upon contacting KitchenAid, I was told that I'm very fortunate that this unit is under KitchenAid's refurbished warranty since they can send me a refurbished stand mixer that truly resembles that made by the company. It does not always work like this. The seller advised me to make sure that I only buy from KitchenAid certified retailers. In order to prevent others from committing a costly error, I gave this a one star.

The mixer has been used to make molasses cookies since then, and for this, I am truly thankful
5/5

In the end, I purchased this 6 QT Pro mixer in Sugar Pearl after researching various vendors and calling Amazon. After reviewing the product, I decided to go with refurbished due to the deep discount and Amazon's guarantee that they would repair the mixer if it were defective. It was an Amazon Fufilled Product. Upon arrival and inspection, the mixer appears brand new and has As far as cosmetics are concerned, it's The mixer has been used to make molasses cookies since then, and for this, I am truly thankful. I also own the 3QT bowl and whip attachment for smaller jobs. The attachment comes with a mounting bracket. I did not find excessive scraping of the bowl needed with my mixer. Some have complained this mixer needs excessive scraping of the bowl. It is not obvious to me why it took me so long to get my hands on it, as I have burned up two Heritage Sunbeam stand mixers in the past. I thank Amazon for its services.

it died after approximately five months of light use. After 5 months of light usage (once a week, tops), the seller won't take it back as it's past the 90-day return period. I should not have got a 30-day warranty, but KitchenAid did (because it's within six months), but they have ignored me for the past three weeks and I am not sure what to do with Since I live in a rural area and buy most of my things online, I had faith in the Kitchenaid brand. But I am totally dissatisfied with them.

I have no concerns about the mixer being refurbished at all
5/5

I gave my wife this mixer for Mother's Day as a present from my son. She absolutely loves it. In addition to her four year old, she 5) Kitchenaid for at least 10 years, and it is still working normally (it was This mixer has allowed her to bake in larger quantities for our church and for many other events. With this batch which makes 12 dozen cookies, she can bake 6 dozen cookies at a time. We ordered a scraper blade (the kind with a rubber edge for scraping the bowl while it is mixing). It is not a good idea to buy from third parties. The noise our Kitchenaid was making was causing us to call our customer service representative, and they informed us that there are resellers on Amazon that sell that blade's discontinued models. In addition to telling us not to use it anymore, Kitchenaid provided us with the correct part number to purchase. Previously, there was a tilt head on the mixer. Lift heads are convenient because you can keep them pushed back on the counter under the upper cabinets when you are not using them. The tilt head does not allow you to do that. We make appliances by Kitchenaid, which is owned by Whirlpool. There are many steps involved in refurbishing a property and I trust one that has been refurbished as much as one that has been brand new. It is possible that they are more rigorous in the testing process than they are in comparison to.

Felt like it would last forever, but it eventually Back in November I bought this mixer and had a great time with it
3/5

In the middle of making a cake, the beater quit turning after about six times of use. There were no binds or overhangs to contend with The computer just shut off after it heated up. It appears that the motor is still running, so I believe the beater mechanism is failing. The problem with buying refurbished appliances is I'm not sure what the resolution is. The Amazon warranty I bought is in the process of being returned and I have now ordered a new, unused one In the past- One that has been used. It was a big deal for me to be sick during the holiday season, which is a major bummer for cooking during the Christmas season. I also have the smaller Artisan model, so it won't be a problem because I'll just have to make everything in smaller batches, which will take twice as long. I guess that's the end of that.

This is a great stand mixer at an amazing price
5/5

Before I bought refurbished products, I had never considered buying any refurbished products. But after I purchased this product I think I'll be buying everything refurbished. All pieces of the stand mixer are intact, and all pieces are well packed (although not in the original box from the manufacturer, if that matters to you). It does not appear that any part of the stand mixer is The item appears to be nearly The only thing that gives it away is that the bowl lacks a brand new sheen, but it would have been lost anyway after a wash, use, and even several uses. My mixer of choice is the 600 Pro series as I plan to use it mostly for making bread dough, and I have been very pleased with it. We were able to easily pump out several loaves of sandwich bread, a dozen rounds of pizza dough, and several challahs in the first week with this mixer. We didn't even get a chance to warm up the motor! Generally speaking, I am pleased with my purchase, and I look forward to using the device for many years to come. The fact that I was able to purchase a mixer that I would have no other way to acquire is so comforting to me.
